After 3 weeks in Mathnasium my daughter Brianna started to love Math..... now she got it!!!
My kids can’t wait till the next day they get to return to Mathnasium! My first child was good at math and I wanted to foster that love for math. My second child, however, hated math and it would cause more tension at home. Subtraction-for example, took 6 months to teach only took 6 days to completely understand. Such a relief and I am just so happy to invest in my children this way!
Mathnasium has made a believer outta me. My middle schooler hated math and now looks forward to it. Seeing her get excited to go, even after a full day of school, is unreal.

My son requested Mathnasium when it came time to do SAT prep because of how much he liked the people who worked there from years before. There were many places and ever private tutors we could have hired (and that I looked into) but he was adamant and actually looks forward to going! They worked with his crazy summer schedule and agreed to do two hour blocks instead of one in order to get his full 18 hours of time in. Can't recommend this place enough! ~ Shannon Black
My kids are really enjoying their Mathnasium lessons, and Becca is a pleasure to work with! We’ve had to re-schedule some classes and Becca always makes the process so easy. The center is organized well and you can tell the teachers love being there with the kids. All in all, a great experience.

Becca and the team have helped my son improve so much! Every time his session is up, he hops in the car with a big smile. That’s how I know that Mathnasium isn’t just about concepts - it’s about CONFIDENCE ...... the work he’s done here has extended to other subjects in school, and an overall improvement in how he overcomes the challenge - whatever it may be.

Somewhere along the line, my daughter missed something. Whatever it was, it made math a constant struggle. One day she decided she needed help. We went in for the assessment and she was SOLD! For a 13 year old to light up at the idea of 2 hours a week of EXTRA instruction. Especially in a subject she despises???? I don’t ask questions. She stands taller and in just 6 sessions, is now helping her peers with their questions.

Kira is an excellent tutor. My son has more confidence in math and is much much much more amenable when it comes time for homework. This has resulted in his bringing his report card grade up from a low C to a low B in less than a semester! Nearly ten points! We are going to continue to use Mathnasium for as long as my son feels he needs it.
Mathnasium has been very helpful to us for three years! My child really didn't want to go when we first signed up... shortly there after he started asking to go to Mathnasium. He realized what a benefit it is.
Leah is the very best. She's so patient and provides just enough guidance to challenge my son to figure out each problem independently, while also building his confidence at the same time - not an easy combination to get it right, but she does. His attitude towards school has completely shifted, he loves going to tutoring and when he's at school, instead of being a passive learner, he's raising his hand to call out the answer and being 100% 'there'. For me, my sons' experience with Mathnasium isn't just about mastering concepts but achieving confidence, and a love of learning. Love Leah and everything she's helped our children to accomplish.

This review is long overdue. Mathnasium in Georgetown, TX has been key to my son’s enthusiasm for math. Starting with the owners, Jennifer and Matthew Faulkner, to the director, Leah Hough, to the individual teachers, they aim to foster excitement, creativity, confidence, and the drive to excel in a subject which often gets “a bad rap.” When kids receive negative feedback about math this may foster self-doubt. Instead, Mathnasium’s method is to empower the student and this has proven very successful for our son. We actually started our son at age 5, prior to kindergarten, and it was incredible to see the arithmetic, problem solving, and abstract reasoning he was able to do! This is our third summer at Mathnasium and we have decided to continue him throughout the entire year as we observed regression in his skills without Mathnasium. Thank you, Mathnasium!!!

Mathnasium puts fun in learning math. The work assignments keep the students engaged. I'm impressed with how Mathnasium creatively transitioned to eLearning during this time. We have been with Mathnasium for 3+ years and highly recommend it.
Neeley is smart but gets overwhelmed so she needs a lot of positive feedback as well as perhaps a little more personal one on one, I believe she was getting that at Mathnasium.
They've done a great job at removing anxiety around doing math and our stat standardized testing. My son saw immediate improvement and elevated math scores on tests and quizzes.
I think the structure and environment are constructive and help make math fun for the students.
Awesome staff who provide excellent feedback, take an interest I developing an individualized plan for each student. High energy staff and environment encourages learning and inspires students. So very happy with both kids results! Math is their best grade!

I enrolled my son at Mathnasium RR in Teravista after a recommendation from a friend who sends all three of her children to them for math tutoring. My son was finishing second grade with about 50-60% in math and we knew that was not good enough. He started the summer by going to Mathnasium 3 times a week and I was worried he wouldn't like it. However, he loves going and loves getting prizes for completing and mastering the work. I find that he is now thinking and talking about things in terms of numbers, ie. how long it takes to get home, dividing items up between siblings, etc.
What I like about Mathnasium is how accommodating the site has been to our needs. The director Leah is incredibly friendly and cheerful. She has never said no to any one of my requests in regards to scheduling and pickup. I have even texted her at 10pm, expecting a response the following day, but she immediately tended to my request and responded. The best thing about Mathnasium are the results...my son now has a 90% in math. I am thankful to them for helping our little boy with his confidence at school. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium to my friends.
My daughter is one month into Mathnasium and already I can see a difference in her attitude and confidence in math. This was the best decision we made all summer. Thanks Leah, and everyone else’s hard work. She never complains about going and is proud of herself when she comes home. You guys are truly appreciated.

Mathnasium has been such a fantastic experience for my son who has been enrolled for the past 3.5 years. The teachers are dedicated, supportive, and truly student-focused. Re: Mathnasium Georgetown, the Director and Owners have an effective partnership and their primary focus is the academic success of the students. Throughout the pandemic, they have adhered to precautions to maintain a safe environment, while still continuing their high-quality instruction coupled with a great deal of fun! I cannot say enough positive things about Mathnasium Georgetown.
