My daughter went there for most of her 8th grade year. I watched her grade in math go from an F to a C by the end of the year. That alone was worth it! They were so patient with her when she would get frustrated & would try to explain in a different way. Her teacher at school was understanding as well. Allowing her to retake quizzes if some of the info was hard for her.
Mathnasium has helped my daughter understand the concepts of Math. She's starting to enjoy Math instead of disliking it.
