Jordan is very enthusiastic and helpful. Our son was struggling in his 6th and 7th accerated math class with his confidence. Mathnasium helped him gain that confidence to participate in school and now he's an A/B student.
My grandson was enrolled for 1 year at Mathnasium; which ended early January 2022. In that year Isaiah's mathematical skills increased dramatically. He says it was the one-on-one attention; the fact that he was able to ask questions and have it explained thoroughly was extremely important to him! The fact that he now likes Mathematics instead of hating it; was more than we could have wished for! Highly recommend Mathnasium to anyone having problems understanding Math!

Jordan and the other staff were great! Our son always was able to help him to get his work caught up and done mostly correctly and in a way that helped him feel like it was a game more than work.
Staff is knowledgeable and patient. My daughter enjoyed her time there and made many gains. We miss Lisa though. She was the best! Keep up the good work!

My daughter has always been good at math but last year her grades suddenly started to drop. it only took two weeks at the Mathnasium to bring them back up. She loved the way things were explained to her and the rewards she got. After the first time she said "this is so much more fun than my Algebra class in school"!
Mathnasium was a great experience for us! My daughter has always loved math, so when she told me she didn't like math anymore at the beginning of 7th grade, I knew I had to do something. On a friend's recommendation, we signed up for a 6-month program, with my daughter going once a week, sometimes more often. My daughter's grade was a B in the 3rd quarter and an A in the 4th quarter. It got her back on track and reinvigorated her passion for the subject. We plan on going a few times over the summer to prevent "summer slide". What a great resource, I recommend it to anyone whose child is having difficulty!
Kama and her staff are wonderful. Kama worked with our schedule and family needs and truly was concerned with the success and well being of my kids. In regards to the instruction, the kids found the lessons engaging, relevant, well-organized, & presented in a manner they could understand, recall, and use in their math classes once back at school. We saw an improvement in their grades and even an increase in their standardized assessments (SAT) scores in the area of math. The program helped build their confidence in math & we are very pleased with our experience at mathnasium.
Mathnasium in California Maryland is doing a great job teaching math and making it enjoyable for the students. The math coaches/instructors are engaged with the students, the students' math teachers at their schools and the parents. They tailor lessons to each student's current needs and abilities. They have helped my student strengthen his understanding and application of concepts where he may have only achieved partial command in class. This is important since math is highly comprehensive going forward--an increased understanding yields higher confidence and achievement at the next level and a more enjoyable math and science experience. Mathnasium is a great resource in our community!
