Polite facility and they cate very much about the well being of all the children that come there!!
I love Mathnasium for my kids. I wasn't sure if it would be for us but my three kids - ages 6, 8, and 10 were welcomed to try a free class or two and they were hooked. The incentive system that they have for the kids makes it helpful to get them to go. I love that you can drop in at any time and the tutors a great at teaching new concepts. Jess, who runs this location, is so great at explaining mathematical concepts and is constantly moving around the center keeping an eye on everything. She jumps from managing tutors to talking to parents to helping students with a new concept with energy and a positive attitude.
The reason I chose to post this review was the noticeable improvement and ease for my kids in their school math work. I was very skeptical and hesitant to pay for extra math outside of school since they are not behind. This made new concepts at school easier for them to learn and also taught some new concepts, as each individual child's abilities allowed. They were even using the skills they had learned in their daily lives. I saw a marked improvement in their numeric fluency and mental mathematics. I also like that it is not just memorizing and drilling facts like other math centers, but it teaches word problems and applications of new concepts.
Just one bad year of math during junior high school set both of our boys up for serious struggles going forward. One summer of Mathnasium helped to identify their gaps, catch up, and feel confident moving forward. We will make a habit of checking in with Mathnasium each summer from now on. Math is the one subject that can’t be skimped on if we are hoping to help our boys succeed.
My daughter really enjoys coming !!!She wants to go everyday you really motivate her!!!! Thank you very much.
Our daughter has improved her math score tremendously, she understands and takes her time at school now.
My son enjoys attending his sessions. He shows concern when he believe he's going to miss a session. I appreciate the positive environment. The monthly progress reports are appreciated as well.
Very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly staff. Very happy.
🙂
All staff welcoming and friendly to both parents and kids. I home-school my grandson and have been very pleased that he enjoys his two hours at week at Mathnasium. He's new to the program but has met nice kids and teachers he likes. He never complains about going, which is great for me. His teachers are aware that he was diagnosed with dyslexia this past year and have take that into consideration when working with him. It's been my experience that not hating something means you can get really good at it!
Thanks Mathnasium,
Martha Perry
My son has dyscalculia and understanding Math has been very difficult for him. Mathnasium has a way of teaching that he is understanding and now he enjoys learning about Math!
everyone was super friendly and very helpful
Great for any student to catch up to grade level or to accelerate
kids love it. Hoping for great results.
I enjoy the tutors are very courteous. Child friendly.
We love Mathnasium. The homeschool class is small and my daughter gets the instruction she needs to succeed.
It has been great taking my son to tutoring. Thanks so much for the help
I love that he can go every day for the monthly rate. We haven't been there long, but I think he is "getting" the hard things. No one has acted impatient because sometimes it takes him several sessions to understand a new concept. His teachers get impatient and condescending at school, but not at Mathnasium. I can't tell you how important that is to me....that he not be made to feel bad when he is trying so hard. He always has someone there to help him, and they actually explain it to him, not just expect him to get it, as has been our school experience. Also, the director and assistant director are super nice and willing to listen to any concerns I have. I hope that I will be able to keep him in Mathnasium as long as he needs it.
The staff makes it fun to learn and my grandson love to attend
My daughter really enjoys going here. She is really becoming fluent with her math facts and more confident
Turned my daughters whole attitude around regarding math, and the way she looks at doing her work in general!
Madison continues to improve in math as well as her comprehensive skills when she works with word problems.
Our son's confidence in his math abilities has increased tremendously. He is proud of his accomplishments and in the hard work he's done. When asked about Mathnasium, he told a friend: "it's actually pretty fun there!"
We appreciate the personalized attention to the needs of our son. Christian was previously enrolled at Kumon. Each day was a battle for us. He gets excited about going to Mathnasium.
Our son usually balks at the idea of doing math homework. He recently told us "I can't believe it's actually fun to do math now".
Both of my boys go to Mathnasium. I would highly recommend them without any reservations. My kids look forward to going each day and their grades have improved tremendously.
