Mathnasium has made a remarkable impact in our son's math skills and self-confidence.

Mathnasium staff in Pflugerville absolutely turned our daughter's experience in 8th grade math around. She is more confident now as a freshman in high school because of their tutoring. While she still has to work a little harder than most, she relies on the methods she learned at Mathnasium. Worth every penny! Really was the smartest and most efficient program for us.

The Pflugerville location staff have completely turned our daughter's dread of math into interest. We absolutely believe in the program. Our 14-year-old is now doing both her catch up work and preAlgebra at the same time and feels great about her capabilities.

We are only 5 week in and our daughter has had positive feedback. She is enjoying the fact the Mathnasium instructors teach the concepts in different ways. She has indicated what she is working on is clicking. As a parent it is great to hear our daughter, who struggles with math, give good feedback and share with us after each session what she worked on.

Mathnasium was the turning point for our 8th grade daughter. Anxiety over math and feeling unintelligent were causing our usually outgoing 14 year old to feel very defeated. We weren't getting the help we needed from her school. We used tutors and attempted to help her at home. Then a friend recommended Mathnasium. Just the diagnostic testing alone was worth every penny! Our daughter is working on a structured plan that she understands. She is very encouraged when she fills a learning gap and jumps forward in understanding. In a very short time, she has completely changed how she views herself and her ability to learn.

We didn't just want for our daughter to make good grades on tests. We wanted her to really understand the functions and be able to operate well in mathematics. Now we don't hear statements like, "Well, I can't be an engineer or an architect because I can't do math." She feels that she is able to learn Algebra and that gives her confidence to try. Mathnasium first builds a foundation of skills which brings confidence which in turn builds self-esteem. We have seen such an attitude change. She knows now that we care more about her really learning to think and to be proficient in a subject than to put to much value on making a good grade on a test or two. Whatever path she chooses, her choice will not be limited because of fear of math.
