I highly recommend Mathnasium. The company’s curriculum is designed to assess your student’s level of knowledge and then work with him/her to achieve a solid grasp of age appropriate skill sets. For those already working at grade level, there is an opportunity to continue into more advanced skills. Of note, the curriculum is, by necessity, very linear. In other words, students who are already behind must start at their current skill level, which may not coincide with classroom assignments. However, students can bring homework to their tutoring session for more directed assistance. The owners, Kim and Geoff, were easy to work with, accessible and informative.
We joined when my daughter and I took hours doing her math homework. There were tears and frustration…on both parts! She had missed some very important procedures and progress within the pandemic.
We have been faithful in a tutoring sessions and my daughter has worked very hard. We have see over the roof results!!
She is much more comfortable and confident in math!!! She scored over 400 points (in one year) on her Math Inventory!!! What ?!?! That’s unbelievable!!

I love this place and my daughter loves coming here as well. They always LISTEN to any questions or concerns I have, which means a lot to me; especially when your child is struggling in certain subjects and you just want to be heard and see someone actually do something to help her, which they have done. This location's communication is excellent. Thank you for everything.

The absence of more homework these days is a testament to places like Mathnasium and not one called Homeworknasium. This brings relief to parent's and children alike that they can go in and receive the math help that is needed and walk away with no stress with missing homework booklets like other places. Most importantly, the target goals and earned rewards give children ambition and excitement to receive their prizes for well deserved work. Overall, my daughter is progressing along and the quaterly reports really help to keep on track with them. The staff is awesome too!

The Mathnasium of North Marietta staff is very insightful in how they adapt to teach & cater to each students individual learning needs.
