We love Mathnasium! My son has a math learning disability and he enjoys Mathnasium so much! His grades have improved, but more importantly, his confidence in his own ability to learn math has improved. (Only gave it a 9 because it is expensive).
When we started Mathnasium, my grandson was two full years behind in math and felt defeated and stupid. He went 2-3 times a week for a year and is now on level. His first quarter grade was a 56 and his last quarter grade was an 83! He liked going to tutoring and felt that the people at Mathnasium were "on his side" and cared about his success. I have recommended Mathnasium to many families and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who has a child who needs help in math.

Before Mathnasium, math was a stress inducing nightmare. Our son felt very defeated because math literally did not compute. There were lots of tears, stress-induced migraines, and lots of anxiety...all because of math! Since starting Mathnasium, our son no longer fears math at all! His confidence in math class, homework, quizzes, and tests has skyrocketed. The rewards based program has him excited about earning various snacks, candy, toys, etc. with his punch cards. He's never once complained about his tutors or the work he's given. He's excelling in math class, and we're so proud of him. Mathnasium has been such a blessing. We'll continue to keep him at Mathnasium as long as we can. It's an investment, but one that is paying off immensely.

My son has ADHD and was struggling with math. He was actually failing math with a very low F. This, of course, caused him significant stress, which then started triggering migraines. It was very difficult to see him endure so much misery. We got him set with Mathnasium, and he turned that low F to a high C. That was 5th grade. Now in 6th, he has an A. Mathnasium will continue to be part of his routine. The rewards based program is wonderful. He never dreads going to math, and is always excited with he gets to pick a reward out. Mathnasium has been s huge blessing!
