As a charter member in the YMCA in Platte county I have use the YMCA many times over the years to help keep myself healthy. The new equipment and upgrades have made the YMCA a wonderful place to workout and keep up to date with the many programs they offer. The staff always greet you with a smile and are ready to help you with you needs at the “Y”.

Excellent instruction by the staff. Kelly's active older adult classes and extracurricular activities are top notch. Brand new equipment, clean facility, friendly faces.
1) The Classes INSTRUCTORS very Cable and very Knowledgeable and consistent .
2) very friendly atmosphere and family oriented organization .
3) New remodeling looks great , very clean , equipment is top of industry and it will not be found in any other Gym .
4) if you are new it will not take time before the Staff introduce you to everyone they are great staff .
5) Management is above and beyond they do everything to satisfy and comfort the members they are there for you .
6) maintenance we have the best maintenance gentleman and lady they are on the top of there work .
ALL THE ABOVE IT IS A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND I FEELED IT .

Love this YMCA! The level of professionalism and knowledge of the class instructors is top notch. There is a variety of great equipment and swimming.
I love the water aerobics and swimming laps in the two pools.

The updates to the weights and equipment area is a huge plus! I also love the aquatic area, and the indoor track if you don’t want to be out in the blazing sun. I would give this facility a 10 out of 10 if the locker rooms were brought up to the same level as the rest of the facility.
Its' close; Platte County Senior Fund pays part of my monthly fee; it has lots of options, but could use more life guards.

Great facility. Equipment is new and works. Has small lounge and coffee area for people to get together. Nice programs for seniors, kids and special needs/interest groups. No waiting in line to use facilities. Very clean.
I love the track upstairs. I joined the Y because I used to walk my neighborhood every day then one day two guys tried to hurt me. That is when I decided I’m not safe walking in my neighborhood so I joined the Y I live I. KCK but prefer Parkville because of the track.
