I think the new Y has a variety of ways to get fit to meet your needs! The place is very clean. The workers are pleasant and helpful, especially a girl there named Ashley. She was so busy the first night I came, but, was very patient with me when explaining the machines to me!

The staff at the Atchison YMCA have been terrifically hospitable even with the mess of the new addition and related construction. They remain as friendly as ever, showing me photos of progress on the building, greeting me by name every day I'm in, and helping support my fitness goals. Hospitality is their great strength!

They continue to adapt and listen in order to meet the needs of the community. The staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming which help me to feel very comfortable there. My child participates in the bitty sports and the leaders and volunteers have made him feel very special and appreciated. He is always happy when he is called by name.

I've only been a member for a week and plan to use mostly the exercise equipment.
I had an introduction to the machines on my first visit. I now have used them 4 times and will need to ask for someone to check me out to see if I am doing them correctly. I will need to make an appointment, I guess, because there isn't a trained staff member on the floor when I am there.
Availability of all kinds of workout machines and classes, and a friendly atmosphere.
Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly,love going there!
