I have been going to the YMCA just about my whole life and I think it is a great place. When I was a child my father took us there for swimming lessons and that experience always stayed with me. I thought the people who worked there were very nice and the instructors were patient and knowledgeable. When I got a little older and worked close to the downtown kansas city kansas YMCA I was able to buy a membership there and work out on my lunch breaks. I really liked this YMCA and all it had to offer. Later when I went to the junior college in kicks I bought a membership at the YMCA off state avenue. I really liked this YMCA too, it was very nice and all the workout options were perfect. Later when I lived in Platte City Missouri I was able to get a membership to the YMCA there . The people who work there are great, the trainers were excellent, the pools were great, walking path was perfect and classes were excellent too. Now I am old and live back in Kansas and have a AOA membership in Bonner Springs, Ks. As with all the other YMCA's, the people who work there are very nice, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. It is always clean, well organized and very well managed, the equipment is just what I want, classes are very good, trainers are helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoy going there and whenever I have a question someone is always available to help me and they have the classes and equipment and walking path that I want in a exercise facility. Also, one of the main things thats drawn me to the YMCA and have always respected/appreciated about the YMCA are the programs and the very dedicated people and compassion they have to develop ways to help people not only with weight problems but to promote good will in the community. They genuinely care about their communities and do good things for their surrounding neighborhood families. Thank you YMCA for all the years of my life I've worked out there and made friends there. Its been a great helpful healthful experience and a lot of fun. Bless you all and hope everyone has very merry holidays!

All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The three morning water fitness instructors, Peggy, Diane, and Kirstin, go out of their way to remember our names and welcome us to the class. All the other class members are friendly also, and I look forward to coming to class every day.
The facility is clean and well maintained and it's inexpensive, so all around it's a great experience.
