My children are actually EXCITED to go to their Mathnasium sessions! This is a very different experience than another national math supplement course we had taken.
Our 8 year old LOVES math largely due to his time at Mathnasium. He always wants to max out his time there and when we come to pick him up, he is head down, working through the problems. I don’t know what the magic is, but we are grateful for the passion they have sparked in him for math.
I think my son always loved math but was just so frustrated with his results in the classroom. He absolutely loves being at Mathnasium and we can’t wait to see how it translates to the classroom in the fall.

Mathnasium provided excellent support for my high school student. I think my child was reluctant to ask questions at school. Mathnasium staff made them feel comfortable asking questions and my child always felt like they learned something after each Mathnasium session. My only regret is that we didn’t find Mathnasium until high school. Regardless, I think my child gained skills and confidence to be ready for their university’s math requirement.

All that needs to be said is that my 13-year-old daughter has not given me trouble once about going to Mathnasium and, in fact, makes sure that I have scheduled her appointments for the week. She is also getting better grades in math and she really likes the teachers there which says so much coming from a teenager.
I recommend it to everyone!
My son loves coming to Mathnasium. My only wish for improvement is to work on staff retention b/c we have experienced a lot of turnover in our short time.
I think my child is developing a solid foundation and will be ready for college algebra soon. The encouragement, guidance and support from Mathnasium is stellar!

Kaitlyn and the teachers at mathnasium are just so kind to my daughter and very encouraging to her as she is going through a hard time in her life. I feel like the teachers there make her feel good about herself and confidence is so important in math especially for girls.

My daughter has been doing the summer program 3x a week. She has really enjoyed it and often talks about the teachers she works with and how much she likes them. She constantly comments on how good they are at teaching things in a way that is easy for her to understand. I'm so happy we gave Mathnasium a try this summer as I really think it is helping advance her Math skills and feel confident she is not losing anything over the summer that she was taught last year.
I really really wish you would consider offering a graduated cost with 1 and 2-day a week options for your program during the school year. I feel like it is just too expensive for us to pay the full cost and only be able to come once or twice a week. With my other kids and all their activities, logistically I would not be able to get her there more than 1-2 times per week given the limited hours during the school year.

I wish there was more communication between Mathnasium and the school. However my kids have improved greatly in most areas of math skills! Everyone is ALWAYS so kind and wonderful with my kids.

Our daughter was being left behind in math. She wasn't getting the personalized attention at an expensive private school that she needed in order to grasp the fundamentals and excel. It wasn't until we received some standardized testing that we discovered the problem. Mathnasium was a great decision. She has not only caught up but is now ahead of her class. The curriculum keeps the basics fresh in her mind through weekly practice, while moving her ahead with new concepts and lessons. She really enjoys her time at the learning center. The incentive system constantly challenges her to achieve in a fun way and at her own pace. Mathnasium has been great for our daughter and our family.
Mathnasium takes the stress out of my home and puts my son in a space where he is around instructors that really know the material; rather than me, as a parent, trying to google math videos to teach myself the material and then teach it to my son.
I appreciated Mathnasium even more when our school switched to online instruction and my child was able to continue doing Mathnasium at home. The extra help on the schoolwork made a world of difference. The Mathnasium instructors are great!
