I've had my son enrolled at Mathnasium two different times, and it made a world of difference. The staff assesses your students needs and comes up with a plan that works for him/her.
It’s a quiet calm atmosphere and the tutors are great with my daughter. Always patient, even if she asks for them to explain a concept over and over.

The program is helpful. My child especially benefited from the calculator 'tricks' that one of the Mathnasium instructors showed him that he apparently was not taught by any of his math teachers. Shortcuts and easy ways to remember things are helpful. Also helpful to make sure child is doing problems correctly even if he doesn't ask for help.
Mathnasium has been really helpful explaining math to our daughter so that she understands how to do it. That is something her math teacher at school has been unable to do.

I contacted Mathnasium, not really knowing what to expect. Todd, the owner explained their approach to help their students to better understand the concepts and process to get their answers. The staff here are very patient with my son, and my son looks forward to going.
