This is an excellent place for your child to go if they need help with math. The atmosphere is very inviting. The tutors work with your child. I saw improvements with my son. He started at a low grade but he move up. I am definitely sending him back.

John, Julie, and the entire staff is amazing. My daughter has been with Mathnasium since the third grade and is now getting ready for her senior year in high school. Mathnasium has helped my daughter not only excel in math but has boosted her confidence from the beginning which has helped her become a straight “A” student in all her classes. We have recently enrolled our younger son in Mathnasium and after his first session he said that his instructor has taught him a method which has made his school lesson make sense and understandable.

Mathnasium of Bayside has always been very accommodating when I have to change our regularly scheduled days.

As a matter of fact, we actually referred three of Chloe's friends to Mathnasium. Chloe enjoys going to Mathnasium. She said she would tell all her friends and classmates to go to Mathnasium if she scored well on the Hunter College High School test.
Whenever I hear a parent complaining about their child's Math grades, I tell them to go to Mathnasium for individualized tutoring. However, some do feel that at around $40 a lesson is high for tutoring that is not one-on-one.
The instructor my daughter had was very knowledgeable of the material and worked well with her. My daughter liked how she was able to receive Hw help too.

However, parents should be aware that if the student is attending by just going
through the motion and does not take it to another level at home … results may be minimal.

My daughter was resistant to math before we tried Mathnasium. After going for a few weeks, she likes it and her tutor. The incentive prizes make it more fun to be there practicing math.
