My child has attended Mathnasium a couple of times throughout school-- once in elementary school when he was struggling and again as an 9th and 9th grader after he'd experienced some pretty serious learning loss due to the pandemic.
Mathnasium's program was so effective when he was in elementary school that I knew immediately where to turn in middle school. The staff at the St. Pete location is great. They communicate well, the tutors were great, and they accommodated our schedule changes as need.
I cannot recommend their services enough. My son was comfortable and made incredible progress while he was there. He gained the skills and confidence he needed and is doing really well in math now.

Mathnasium was a fabulous experience for my family. We originally went for our daughter, but my son quickly begged to come too. He has behavioral challenges, but the entire staff was nurturing and accepting. Math was already a strength for him, but they encouraged his independence and higher level thinking through of problems. My daughter’s confidence and attitude toward math both increased tremendously. This school year has been much better as far as homework struggles. We see a massive difference in specific mental math skills, which make all of her work go easier and faster. Her report card last week exceeded our expectations. Elisa and everyone else at Mathnasium, was kind, organized and respectful. I highly recommend Mathnasium to families that are dealing with math struggles or want their kids to be stimulated more in math.

You were very helpful with are situation, and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and determined to help get things right. The first time we went to you she received an A on her final exam. Second time also, but the school system ended up not counting the entire test for everyone. We may even need you again this school year. We thank you.
Our son no longer has a breakdown when doing subtraction, he enjoys math and is doing well. We plan on making Mathnasium one of our annual summer programs. I GREATLY appreciate the flexibility with the package 19. The flexible schedule is imperative for our life style and my hectic, ever changing work schedule. We are Mathnasium fans all the way!!!

All the staff worked hard to help Adam clep out of pre-algebra so he could start Algebra 1 for the fall school year. They cared and were motivated to help him accomplish his goals.
Our son struggled with math since he began school. The higher the grade the more he became frustrated by math. We went into mathmasium together and sat down with the director and she made him feel comfortable. I the beginning it was a fught to get him to go, bat after a while it became less so. soon he was getting for comfortable with math and the more he went the more confident he became, after a while he wanted to go, and now he has become more confident in math and turned 180 and is succeeded in math. in work at SiriusXM and hewed the ads for years and that's where I heard the parents who were in the same boat as I was. I am glad I listened to those parents and turned my sons outlook in math upside down!
Mathnasium has been amazing for my kids. My son had little confidence in math before coming to mathnasium when he was at the end of fifth grade. After just a month or two at Mathnasium, his confidence and skill in Math skyrocketed so he is not only keeping up in his middle school Math, but he recently tested above the 95th percentile on state testing!! My younger son who is In second grade has also made great strides after a month at mathnasium! He scored a 100% on the state test and more importantly he just loves to do MAth! We are so grateful for Mathnasium and happy to see our kids have gained confidence and skill in this important subject! It has been well worth the investment!

The improvement in my child's math skills were amazing after just one year with you. I wish I would have started her alone. If you were open for business at 2 instead of 3 she would probably still be enrolled.
My daughter went to Mathnasium for 1 1/2 years. When she entered she was about 6 months behind in math and scoring 3s on her practice FSA exams. We were concerned because at that time she was in 4th grade and would have to earn a 4 or 5 on the math FSA to qualify to take the advanced math course offered at her school. After 4 months at Mathnasium she managed to score a 4 on the 4th grade math FSA and ended up qualifying to take the advanced math in 5th. After a year and a half of Mathnasium she was able to score a 5 on the 5th grade math FSA and is on solid ground for taking 7th grade math next year in 6th grade. Mathnasium provides solid weekly practice which gives the students a strong foundation in the basics which they can apply to tougher, more abstract math concepts. Moreover, it gave my child the confidence she previously lacked, and set her up for long-term success. She was also able to see that hard work, over months and months, achieves real results and that if she works hard at something, even something that is challenging, she can gain the skills to be successful. Mathnasium helped foster a growth-mindset and strong work habits, facilitating the quality of grit, which anyone who wants to be successful, needs to possess.
