We are very happy with the staff and ease of scheduling. My daughters are able to bring in problems they do not understand in class or work on reinforcing their skills. Teachers don’t use books in class any longer. It is difficult for parents to follow along. Teachers explain formulas a certain way and if your child doesn’t understand that way there is a gap in learning. Mathnasium has been an asset to our family to bridge the gap between white board classroom lessons and personalized help.
Within two months, our child brought home two 100% quizzes in one week. We are glad about that; seems like effective tutoring. We also like the certificate style slips of paper that he brings home after instruction.
The reason that we probably won’t stay with company long though is the package options. I would prefer a weekly tutoring option and a twice week tutoring option or an unlimited monthly option. I think $350/mo is steep for 1x/week like we are using currently.

This center has helped my child tremendously. She is now thriving in math class and I no longer have to spend hours studying with her. If she ever has a question with her homework, the teachers at Mathnasium are always there to help. Excellent dedicated staff. Hours are also very convenient, and the online interface allows for her to practice math even when we are away. I highly recommend this center

Excellent teachers and great experience! David, the Director of the center is exceptional.
David was excellent in informing me about both my boys progress where they were excelling, where they needed more work and what exercises we could do at home that were fun. I was delightfully surprised that in the four months we attended, my boys consistently asked to go back to more classes, an attestation to the fun they were having while learning. Teachers there are super engaged and every time I pick them up they are engrossed in educating a child one on one. Once summer activities conclude we will definitely be back. Thanks to David and the Fairfield math teacher team for the excellent experience for my 6 and 8yo boys!
I like the approach Mathnasium has to developing math skills among young ones. My son has been going to the Fairfield center for the past 3+ yrs and I have seen him able to grasp concepts easily.
The teachers are very patient and knowledgeable. They have made my child improve her math scores and her confidence! Best decision ever, I wish I had enrolled her sooner than when my child was in 5th grade.

My grandson while vine from out of state studied for a few weeks at Mathnaseum. He was thoroughly tested so the tutors knew what to focus on. The tutors were so knowledgeable and kind. He loved going, and his math knowledge improved considerably.
