I feel that my daughter is pushed to figure out the math on her own as much as possible, but the tutors are very helpful in determining when she needs assistance as well. They aren't there to do her work for her in other words.
My daughter likes the environment and feels that the tutors are helpful and that everyone is very nice. When we starting going to Mathnasium, she had a "D" for the 4th quarter in math. The quarter had just started. At the end of the quarter, she had raised it to a "B" so I definitely feel that her hard work and the help Mathnasium gave her paid off. She struggled with the final and received a high "C" for the semester, but that final covered 3rd quarter and 4th quarter material, much of which was taught before we started working with Mathnasium.

since my daughter has joined Mathnasium, I have noticed great improvement in her grades at school.
Liking the fact that my son is "filling in the gaps" where he missed some important concepts. I'm hoping this helps him.
My daughter was in tears from frustration with her math homework. I called Mathnasium and David said bring her in now and we will help her. She got through her homework that night and has been signed up since and she looks forward to going to Mathnasium several times a week and has a much better understanding of her work and is doing better in her math class. Not only does my son love going to Mathnasium, but I have seen a marked increase in his understanding of math concepts. After one month, he is more focused in math and doesn't dread math tests like he used to do. His grades have also improved, which has made him more confident.
Our child seems to enjoy the environment and we feel is learning math.

It's been very helpful for my daughter every time she attends. Her Pre Calculus test scores have improved greatly! I appreciated how Mathnasium worked with me on creating an individual schedule/plan that worked for what I wanted.

At the end of 4th grade, my daughter feared math class and constantly said, "Mommy, I'm bad at math." After enrolling her in Mathnasium of Ocotillo's summer program, that quickly began to change :) My daughter LOVES going to Mathnasium! The instructors are fun, welcoming, and make practicing math fun for our daughter. The incentive program, earning STAR cards to cash in for prizes the students get to choose, motivates my daughter to work hard and boosts her confidence. We love Dave too; his personality is friendly and professional, and he's wonderful with the kids! Thank you, Dave and Mathnasium of Ocotillo team! I am so thankful that our daughter is excited to enter 5th grade this year and not stressed about a new year of math!
My son really enjoys the time he spends at Mathnasium. It has helped him to keep from sliding backward in math during the summer break.
