It has been amazing, to watch our daughter, go from hating math and a C student. To now making A's.
Mathnasium teaches with 100 Percent Heart. Every Single Tutor is there because they want to teach math. It is clear that they are not there just for a "Job." The Teachers are Highly Seasoned Teachers that bring A LOT of experience to the table. Many of the teachers have taught several grade levels and at distinguished Academic Institutions.
They have great communication pieces; always wanting to know what they can do to specifically zone in for ALL students' needs. Their "Differentiation" strategies and philosophy is unlimited, as they take a number of pathways to meet the students' needs, interests and abilities. Mr. Brandon and Ms. Sheri are highly experienced and they are clearly employees that wish to be there - because honestly, they have the credentials to work anywhere they please.
Most of all, they teach with love and the students end up liking - if not loving Math.
Personally, my son made great gains - originally with a very apprehensive attitude and within in one week, liking math. This was a major paradigm shift for him.

Mathnasium turned my daughter's life around. She went to mathnasium because she lacked confidence in her math class due to gaps in her learning. Mathnasium filled in those gaps, caught her up, and then challenged her beyond what she was receiving in her math class at school. When she started math as a freshman in high school the following year, she said, "this is easy. I already learned this in mathnasium." She is now confident in her math skills and is acing her class! We loved our experience with Mathnasium! Not only did our daughter's MAP score improve, but more importantly her confidence in math improved. Ms. Aileen and Ms. Cheri are wonderful. I asked my daughter about her time this year and this was her response: "It is like the best place ever! My daughter loves going to Mathnasium! Her confidence has greatly improved and she's enjoying learning how to do something that previously would bring great frustration. We are extremely pleased with the program. As a parent who struggled with math myself, I cannot recommend this enough.

Mathnasium has helped my son prepare for calculus. He looks forward to going and credits his tutoring at Mathnasium with his success in the class.
The methods used at Mathnasium made math enjoyable for my two children. They were incentivised to attend and learn new concepts. I plan to send them to Mathnasium every summer because they do not get out of the habit of doing math problems and they are more prepared when they go back to school in the fall.
Our son felt very prepared for calculus as he returned to school this fall. This was totally due to the tutoring he received at Mathnasium that was tailored to his strengths and weaknesses. He will definitely use Mathnasium again!
At first my daughter was not excited about math. Since Mathnasium, she is more interested in learning and understanding math. Mathnasium has really open her eyes to finally appreciating math. It has been the answer to my prayers. I also love that they are very hands-on which makes it easier for her to grasp the concepts of her assignments in her math class. My granddaughter enjoyed attending Mathnasium this summer. She looked forward each day to attend. I do not know yet the positive effects that it will have on her in school this year - but will keep you informed after her first report card. She liked all of the instructors, however she did have her picks. Mathnasium made learning fun for her. She actually like math now. The money spent in my first assessment was money well spent.
