We will only recommend Mathnasium to people who we really like! Mathnasium is like math insurance for the middle school brain. I'm not sure how the teachers there are able to get to the student's brains when there are so many other things going on! our daughter just want getting math. when she went from middle school to high school her grades nose dived. her teacher recommended a tutoring place next to her school. they weren't interested because she was going to take too much work and they were looking for someone they only had to nudge not really roll up their sleeves and help. another math teacher recommended mathnasium. Lily eveluater her and knew there was lots of work to do. it was 2 weeks until the end of the year and with not enough time my daughter received an"F" and went to summer school. Lily and her team got to work and my daughter received a "B" in summer school. math is still not her top subject but after 3+ years with mathnasium our daughter is getting "A"/" B+". we are very proud of our daughter and extremely pleased with the way mathnasium has helped our daughter academically. we have just enrolled our 4 grader and we know his math skills will sky rocket.
