Our son got a lot more confident in Math and seemed to like it more after spending some time in the program. it was especially useful to prevent any "summer slide", especially after a tumultuous year-plus of pandemic schooling.
My son improved in his math skills in the short time he was at Mathnasium (time constraints kept us from continuing his lessons), but my daughter, who has more time for lessons, has not only begun to master skills she should have learned at school but also seems to have fallen in love with math, which is what I had hoped for! Almost every day now, she asks for math problems to solve at dinner & before bed or in the car waiting for whatever. So grateful she has been able to do this program.
My teen loves math and Mathnasium and even wants to work there in the future as a tutor. Mathnasium of Decatur is very flexible with us, allowing us to pause and restart our membership when we have available time and resources.
Both of my children benefitted greatly from this program. Homework help for my son and the introduction of new and forgotten concepts for my daughter. Awesome program. Both children enjoyed the program.

Attending Mathnasium was such an amazing experience for my daughter. She lacked confidence with any maths problems no matter how many times I explained how to tackle them. Many instances of tears and frustration until I started sending her to Mathnasium. The team were/are amazing and my daughter's confidence improved immeasurably and her grade at school increased from a D to an A!!!!
Management was great to work with, flexible and responsive. Within a few weeks of his assessment, my high school junior told me he didn't think he needed the deep dive algebra review his testing had indicated and we'd both thought he needed. Staff talked it over with him and worked out a faster-paced skills check, while also offering support in his current higher-level IB math class. He did find some of the tutors were better equipped than others to help with the more advanced coursework. My son opted out of the program sooner than I would've liked due to a busy schedule, and it remains to be seen if the bump up in his math grade will last without the support. It's good to know we can return to Mathnasium easily, without having to search for an available private tutor.
Instructors were very knowledgeable. The teaching format was good. My grandson improved tremendously. I would definitely use mathnasium again & highly recommend them.

We have had a great experience for our daughter over the past 2 years. She loves the teachers and has benefitted greatly from attending. Although she is not struggling in math and is currently in an advanced math setting in high school, she continues to attend as it helps her to stay on top of her challenging curriculum. She is able to brush up on math skills as well as receive help with homework and advanced math concepts. We have been very happy with the owner and staff who are very responsive and committed.

My daughter fell behind in math during fourth and fifth grade (as many girls do for all sorts of reasons that have nothing to do with their abilities). She was frustrated to move out of the gifted math class in middle school. During the summer before her second year of middle school we spoke with an instructor who said he did not think it likely she could catch up but he would give her the chance. She started Mathnasium and went about 15-20 hours a month. The next year, she talked her way into the advanced class and skipped two grade levels, finishing that year as the highest ranked student in her grade. She is in AP Calculus as a Junior and will take AP Statistics and AP Economics and AP Physics as a Senior because she is sure she can do it.
We credit the program and the instruction at Mathnasium for helping her gain the confidence and the competence needed to achieve her goals.
You completely changed the confidence of my child. She now approaches math problems with enthusiasm rather than fear.

My daughter was supported and helped to further her math skills. Her experiences did, however, sometimes depend on who she was assigned to work with on a particular day.
My daughter thrived at Mathnasium! She never complained about going and genuinely enjoyed the tutors and now enjoys and understands math! She went from failing her Math Milestone assessments to exceeding them in less than a year of sessions. It is money well spent. The owner, director, and tutors are all amazing. I highly recommend Mathnasium!!!

My daughter had 16 sessions at Mathnasium this summer. She has improved with her math skills.. we live in Mobile, AL and do not have Mathnasium here... I would certainly sign her up if it was available here..the instructors seem to be genuinely concerned and helpful... my daughter enjoyed going to her sessions..she recently had her 1st math test in school and scored 88/100.. a lot of math skills that she had on her test is material that was covered at Mathnasium..I would highly recommend Mathnasium and would love to see a center in Mobile,AL
Excellent program! Mathnasium helped my daughter tremendously. She was able to start her preAlgebra journey with ease. Mathnasium instructors helped her build foundational solid arithmetic skills.
