Mathnasium has been such a help to us as our high schooler struggled with math. Especially with all the changes with COVID19, Angela and the rest of the team at the Apex Mathnasium has gone above and beyond to create alternate tutoring options and to keep us updated with calm, reassuring communication. I love the personal touch to Mathnasium. The moment my son walks in the door he is welcomed by name. He always has the opportunity to work on his own homework and studying but also strengthen his skills. He loves being rewarded for improving grades as well.

When we moved to this area from out of state, our daughter had received no exposure to the Common Core methodology. Jumping straight in at the third-grade level, she was not only struggling with her homework and tests but, incredibly frustrated and discouraged. She would say things like, "I'm no good at math!" and become very upset when attempting work with which she was completely unfamiliar.
The help she has received from the Mathnasium staff here in Apex has genuinely helped her. She went from grades that were marginal at best, to scores that demonstrated her firm grasp of the material.
More importantly, she is no longer "defeated" by her math assignments and tests.

This experience had helped our 13 year old grandson tremendously and I believe helped with his end of year NC Math Exam in the 7th grade.
