I was extremely pleased with the onboarding, Doug made it very clear and easy and the communication was excellent. Ultimately, his excitement and passion about tutoring our student is what made use decide to go with Mathnasium. I've already recommended Mathnasium Eastlake to another parent. Doug and his staff are awesome! They take their time to help grow the student's math skills through deliberate and thoughtful approaches. My favorite part about MA+nasium is that there’s no judgement and students from different academic levels are sitting side by side.
When your child says the class is “fun” and starts to feel proud of herself, you know this was the right choice.
My only regret is not starting her earlier but she’s still on time to graduate high school with good grades and not letting Math stop her from pursuing a higher education.

Doug has been a tremendous help with getting our 7th grader on the right track. I love that the hours are flexible and the price is pretty affordable per month. Not mention, we’ve seemed really great results with her retaining more of what is taught at the center and in class.

My daughter has been going to Mathnasium for about 6 weeks now and I have noticed an increase in her confidence with math. She has always been someone who dreaded opening her math book, but now she doesn’t avoid the work. In fact, I believe that having access to help in a different environment from school and her peers feels “safe”, which is likely why she has been willing to go. So far, I’m a satisfied customer.
My son enjoys coming here. He actually is enjoying math. He says everyone is nice and like to explain with out being judgmental.
Recently my granddaughter was having major problems with her pre-calculus at School. She is a great student in all her other classes but for some reason found this class simply overwhelming. We were desperate as to where to turn. I had contacted several independent tutors and found that they were not connecting with my granddaughter. Mathnasium was recommended to us by the School. I contacted them and spoke with Doug and explained our situation to him. He encouraged us to come in so that one of his tutors could sit with my granddaughter to review her most recent test which she did poorly in.
From the moment that we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by Doug. He was understanding and very knowledgeable not only in the subject matter but also as to the methodology by which they would make the material understandable to my granddaughter.
We sat down with Carlos, one of the tutors and we were instantly struck by his congenial and cheerful disposition. He instantly connected with both of us. We felt comfortable that he could make this material comprehendible to her. He was patient and understanding in his review of a test that she did poorly in. After few questions, we were sure that he would be able to lift the vail of confusion as to the subject matter from my granddaughter. He demonstrated a genuine and desire for her success in the class. His attitude created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which we felt free to any question about the material being review. He offered short cuts and tips on how to get the work completed.
I am sure that Doug and Carlos both represents the highest standard of professional excellence that Mathnasium strives to present to the public. Although the words “Customer Service” are usually a worn-out marketing pitch, there is no doubt in my mind that these words having a real meaning to them as this was reflected in the way we were treated. You can be assured that I will let all my work associates, family members and friends know about my experience with Mathnasium

The tutoring experience has been positive.
Camila has improved in her confidence and math skills in less than one month! She is starting to enjoy her math work at school instead of making excuses not to do it :-)
My 14 year old daughter always receives the assistance she needs with homework and exams. She has increased her grade in precalculus in just one month. Doug and his Instructors are amazing!
We enrolled our daughter Leah in Mathnasium because she was having difficultly with classes at her High School.
Mr. Wolf was attentive and tested our daughter so he could better understand exactly what the issues were and designed a program for Leah to succeed.
I would recommend this program to any parent that is concerned about their students performance or just to assist their child to better comprehend the Math that is being taught in the schools
