As a homeschooling family, math is the one subject area in which we have struggled to work cohesively to ensure dynamic growth for various learning styles. Mathnasium filled in all of the teaching/learning/curriculum gaps as well as secured individual scaffolding and growth for our university-bound high school junior. The personalized and individualized instruction and the decreased frustration (for both my teenager and myself) made Mathnasium well-worth the financial investment!

Coleton has been with Mathnasium for about 2 years now. I have seen so much growth in his math work. His grades are a reflection on how much Mathnasium has helped him. Mathnasium of Burlington has been wonderful for our 3rd grader. We felt he wasn’t being challenged at his current school and he is getting great enrichment here. I love the personalized curriculum, that we get progress reports, and that they work toward mastery on each skill. So glad we found this place!

Mathnasium has helped patch holes in our daughter’s understanding of mathematical concepts so she has grown in confidence as well as skills. She looks forward to working with the teachers every single day she’s been (a LOT in the past 9 months!) because they are patient, experienced, knowledgeable, and take time to ensure she ‘gets it’! Mathnasium is the reason that math is now her favorite subject in 8th grade!
Our daughter began working with Mathnasium during her 6th grade year. She had always struggled with math concepts and lacked confidence in her ability to “get” math. The close knit, professional staff at Mathnasium quickly identified areas for improvement and taught our daughter in a way that gave her clarity. She loves what she is doing and her teachers have noticed her progression since joining the program. We are proud to report that she has improved her Math grade from a C to an A! Everyone is so kind and patient with my son, who has ADHD and they really encourage him to be who he is. Allowing him to stand up if he needs to is so helpful for him and they never make him feel stupid if he does something incorrectly. They just patiently explain it as many times as they need to. Thank you for everything y’all have done and continue to do for my son!
Mathnasium in Burlington NC is the BEST! It is evident that they truly care about the welfare of their students. Their devotion to providing quality instruction is evident. That can clearly be seen through their quick response to the 'online' instruction and prorating tuition. We love Mathnasium. I keep asking my daughter if she is ready to stop. Her answer is always the same 'NO WAY'. Thank you Mathnasium!
Excellent tutors
I can't believe it... My daughter is no longer scared to take the SAT. She is gaining confidence each day as she prepares. Even as she does practice problems at home she is becoming more sure of herself. Thank you Mathnasium.
Mathnasium has been an amazing experience for our family. My daughter began this summer, as a last ditch effort to prepare her for middle school. Her confidence has skyrocketed! My only regret is that we didn't do this sooner.
Our daughter was failing her college math class March 2021 and worse, she felt stupid and a failure and that she was “never going to get it”. Tearful with a confidence level in the basement. Fast forward one year later and she has soared above and beyond expectations! She is doing great in math and understands the math concepts now. This is due to the patient tutors at Mathnasium that started over with her and slowly bridged the gaps she had and encouraged her each step. She will now be off to UNCW this fall with the confidence that she can succeed. Would highly recommend Mathnasium! Thank you is not enough!
