Alison and the Redondo Beach team are very kind, friendly, and create such a calm, positive, stress-free environment for my kids to learn math. My kids are young - 4 and 6 years old. Kindness and a stress-free environment are crucial for them. I am very happy they are enrolled at Mathnasium, as I see them becoming more confident at school. Additionally, it gives them the freedom to explore other things without feeling the need to catch up.
Alison is always on top of things logistically. She is available whenever I need to adjust the schedule or talk about kids' challenges.

My son has been a part of the Mathnasium community for the last 3.5 years. Despite the fact that the Director of the center has changed 3 times since, they manage to keep a good learning plan that is adjusted to the childs' needs. Mine is ahead of the curve and they keep him challenged.
I also appreciate the constant communication channel between the center and the parents. This enables us (as parents) to not just be aware of what's happening, but also allows us to adjust the plan if we feel the need to. I haven't had to adjust the plan recently. So, the current director is fantastic (Alex is his name) and very attuned to what the kid needs.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is struggling with math, or is wanting to hyper accelerate.

My child likes going every week and has fun.
My daughter previously attended another learning center, but I noticed she was becoming disinterested and bored. The learning methods there weren’t effective, and she lacked the motivation to attend—it felt like she was going just for the sake of it. However, since joining Mathnasium of Redondo Beach, she truly enjoys the learning experience. The center doesn't assign homework, which allows her to complete her schoolwork on time. The various motivational activities keep her engaged, and the experienced teachers explain concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way. I've seen a significant improvement in her academic performance, and I would highly recommend Mathnasium to friends and family.
Alex is great and will work with you. Both my kids go to Mathnasium and it has helped them tremendously. Recommend!
My kids look forward to going each week and don’t look at it as something they “have” to do. The incentive program is a huge hit with my two kids and fosters some healthy competition between them. They like the program director and appreciate that he and the tutors always seem to be in a good mood. My daughter said it has really helped her to get a refresher on reducing fractions.
My daughter’s grades improved and Alex was so great with her! We will be seeing the team again soon next year!

The reward system helps incentive the kids to work harder My son has been going there for a few years and is excelling in advance math! He's learning fast and getting a good foundation.

As an elementary school teacher and a parent, I would recommend Mathnasium for children that need extra support in math or those that want to improve their math skills. My daughters enjoy going to Mathnasium three times a week and I like the flexible schedule.

Mathnasium has helped both my eldest and youngest children become confident and more proficient in math over the years. While not everyone we have recommended Mathnasium to has signed up, we never hesitate to make the recommendation and will continue to do so.

Mathnaseum has really helped my daughter through the last couple of years especially after falling behind during COVID / online learning. They are great about helping her with homework and studying for tests.
I absolutely love the staff. Everyone is so knowledgeable, kind and patient with my daughter. She enjoys being there and gets disappointed when she doesn’t get to go which is crazy to me since she’s never been a fan of math.

this environment is based on what the individual is looking to improve without any judgement and sometimes Math can be perceived as difficult but its just being exposed and have the right support to demonstrate how to think about the concept to solve it ....thank you for all the support with my son....
