The instructors, as well as Monica, go above and beyond the call of duty to teach math. My experience in taking my niece to Mathnasium is that she has always benefited greatly from her sessions!
My experience with Mathnasium was great. The work they did with my grandson helped him elevate his understanding of math basics. His grades went from failing to a B.
I already spoke with someone about the good deal that Mathnasium offers economically. Of course, I am not a math person, so I cannot really speak to how my child has grown. However, I love the way the teachers note progress and areas of improvement.
My son Brayden started at Mathnasium prior to his Kindergarten year just because I wanted him to develop a love for math and to never be intimidated by math. He has continued and has worked ahead ever since! He is now a rising 4th grader but has worked on 4th grade skilks during the 3rd grade. He already knows the multiplication facts beyond the 12s! He attends year round and has NEVER counted on his fingers and it would always impress me to see him working problems out in his head at Math Night at his school whereas kids in his same grade would have to use their fingers to do the same computations. Not putting anyone down for doing that but it showed me that his working at Mathnasium has improved his ability to use his mind and to critically think about how to arrive at the answer and SO many students lack critical thinking skills so this is a very important skill to me for my child to learn. The teachers there are patient, they love to help others, and they LOVE math and I appreciate them for passing that LOVE of math on to my son. He has never made less than As in math on his report card and has always been an A student. We 💓 Mathnasium and you and your child/children will too! I HIGHLY recommend them!
