We had our child enrolled in summer classes, and the program has been very engaging. The rewards system really keeps her motivated and excited to learn. The tutors are young but seem knowledgeable, and the scheduling system is easy to use. We especially appreciate the flexibility and the option for Saturday classes, which work perfectly for our busy family. Mr. Sonny is very thorough in explaining the program. My only wish is that they could offer pay-as-you-go sessions.

It teaches kids to think, not memorize how to do math, which is great for problems solving. It also teaches kids to be faster with thinking the right way. It builds confidence and my child loves to go to the sessions

Mathnasium has been a lifeline for my son's Algebra grade, as well as his understanding of the subject.
My son went from 45’s to now brining home 100’s and on a tough day 80’s. Staff is amazing and he’s always excited to go!! Would highly recommend for anyone struggling or just needing some additional help. They offer test prep as well.
Yes the learning experience is very helpful. If a child is not self motivated there will be issues with progress. I have to sit with Hannah during each session to be sure she is understanding and finding the correct answers. However I do not sit with her when she does her mastery check to evaluate her progress. Some of the instructors do not spend much time with her, only asking if she has it. She always says yes. Some do the first problem with her to actually see if she does. The main instructor I believe is Anthony is great in explaining the format for finding the answer. The "smart math approach is very helpful if your child will actually use it. I have a problem with my finger counter using the newly learned formulas.
My daughter Sarah is a 9th grade student and as recently joined mathnasium and she is really enjoying the experience.
She is missing some math skills and was struggling in moving forward. The team at mathnasium were able to give her an assessment test that helped prepared a learning trajectory specific to her situation.
She says that all her tutors are very patient and professional. She is catching up pretty fast and will be ready for success.
