My son was failing math and hated the subject. Mathnasium was recommended by a friend and we decided to try it out. He’s been going for about two months and we’ve already seen improvement in his math scores. Instead of failing tests he’s now passing them. His confidence level has increased too. He enjoys going to Mathnasium and enjoys the counselors and the environment they create. They make Math fun!

Since starting Mathnasium of Pasadena my child math grades have improved.
It has been really helpful for my son to clear math concepts with the classes and method provided.
We are very pleased with the help my daughter is getting at Mathnasium! She is enjoying math more, comes home and tells me about the concepts she has learned.
The reason I would recommend mathnasium is because of several factors.
1. My daughter says she likes and understands the way the instructors explain algebra and they let her work out problems on her own after they explain to make sure she understands. The last two private tutors we tried out would explain a math problem without letting her practice similar problems on her own.
2. Her grade in math overall and on the last two tests since the one month that we've started mathnasium has already improved drastically.
3. Her confidence in attempting to solve math problems has improved a lot.

At first, the girls (7 & 10) were not too excited about starting at Mathnasium. But after the third session, they were both hooked. Now they both look forward to going (3 times each week) and they both have shown great improvement in their math skills. The anxiety my eldest had about math over the last 1.5 years has lifted and she now enjoys it. Recently, she was invited to a Friday night sleep over, but said she still didn't want to miss her Saturday morning Mathnasium session -- I was dumbfounded!
I like that Mathnasium creates a personalized workbook for each student that addresses each student's specific needs. The key as a parent, I think, is to relax and let the folks at Mathnasium do their thing with the personalized workbooks to build a solid foundation of the fundamentals.
My wife and I both enthusiastically recommend Mathnasium to any parent.

My daughter started attending Mathenisum approximately 2 months ago and she loves it!! Can’t say enough great things about this place. They have the best (“coolest”) instructors.
She loves the balance of freedom and instruction. She always asks to go to the center without my suggesting it and she comes home happy and excited to learn more. She proudly walks around in the Mathenasium t-shirt that she earned and (I’m not even kidding), she won’t let us wash it! 😂

The stuff is wonderful, very kind, friendly and helpful also very patient with kids. My kid’s math improved within 3 months. Not only they’re comfortable with math now but the progress is outstanding. My daughter who is a 7th grader had little struggle with math in certain areas within couple months we felt a major difference, she just took her placement test a week ago her math level shows she is a 10th grade level. Of course it depends on a child, every child is deferent but we feel Mathnasium really helped our kids. We’re very happy and satisfied, will be continuing.

Monika likes to go to her math sessions at Mathnasium. She is making some nice progress and she seems to enjoy math more. She even showed me one of the "math tricks" she learned last week.

As an area of improvement, I would love to see a less noisy environment. It seems quite loud and busy when I am there to drop off.
Mathnasium has helped Owen immensely. I am blown away at the knowledge and effectiveness of the teachers. They always understand exactly what he is working on and teach him different techniques to solve the problems. He enjoys the teachers, is able to focus and is learning better habits, like using more space to show his work in an organized way.

My daughter was struggling in her AP math class & we didn't know how to help her. While it's only been a month since she's started, we can see quite an improvement in her understanding of the concepts she is currently working on. Her test scores @ school are gradually getting better & we are confident she'll be able to pass with flying colors before the school year ends. Her confidence level is back & she really enjoys how there are so many instructors to help incase she doesn't quite understand one's explanation she can always look to another without feeling helpless. The homeschool hours are great and Mathnasium is helping my kids feel more confident in math. They also love the punch cards to earn rewards, very motivating.
The one on one experience has been great for my son except there are usually delays in starting or some kind of glitch in the system. I do like the change in instructors so my son is exposed to different teaching styles.
