I recommended a friend yesterday. One of the best things I like is the scheduling flexibility! Coming and going as we please, rather than having to abide by your ‘tutor availability’ schedule. There are always qualified tutors available whenever we need them for our visit by OUR schedule.
We love Mathnasium and the staff. We enrolled our daughter because she was struggling and lacking in self-esteem when it comes to all things Math! I'm pleased to say that Mathnasium has sparked her interest in Math and is helping to unlock some things in her brain that were otherwise untapped (in my opinion.) I feel that this program is giving my child what she needs to succeed and we are continuing through indefinitely.
Not to mention, her sessions at Mathnasium with homework help take away the angst of doing homework at home as the staff is able to guide her through much easier than I am.

My 7 year old has confidence in Math! It's exciting and it's a self esteem booster for her! She filled out a "all about me" sheet at school and the question was asked, "what are you confident in?" She wrote, "Math!" The next question was, "what subject are you the best at?" Her answer was, "math!" Thank you!!

My daughter is gaining in confidence. This is great program.
Our daughter was receiving the message at school that she wasn't good at math and we worried that this message was becoming self-fulfilling. We enrolled her at mathnasium hoping that she would gain confidence and learn mathematics in a way that made sense to her, rather than the standardized test-centered approach that her current teacher was using at school.
She has been going for one month now and we are already seeing visible improvements in her confidence. She loves going, and will sometimes even do extra math problems at home after her homework is completed. She has been learning strategies for speeding up her problem solving that make intuitive sense to her. We are sorry that she didn't get this from her elementary school education, but thankful that Mathnasium was there to fill the gap.
It has been the experience we hoped for: she is more confident and ready for tests. She was amazed at the number of concepts she needed to catch up on; that too has helped her in Algebra class! Thank you!
