We had a good experience with the summer program.
Most of the instructors were good and the site director, Patrick, was super accommodating, flexible, and helpful.
My son called in online due to Covid. It is really tough to make sure my son was fully engaged the whole time online. This isn't any fault of Mathnasium; they did their part. I would have given a 10 if my son loved it; he didn't love it but sometimes he liked it. This is math in the summer... so that's actually pretty impressive for a sixth grade boy.
I only stopped Mathnasium because school picked up again in the fall. I would certainly consider signing him up again in the summer. If he was into it more, I would sign him up earlier. Math instruction/practice is money well spent in my opinion.
Our son who was in accelerated algebra improved a lot with Mathnasium! He found the material complicated, especially during virtual learning, and needed extra support. With Mathnasium, he went from C's to not just A's but essentially 100s on quizzes and tests. The staff worked through difficult concepts with him. Sometimes it took a whole hour on one question, but they didn't give up. They also created a custom packet for him to relearn concepts from Algebra 1 that he had forgotten and needed for his Algebra 2 course. Wish we had started with Mathnasium earlier in the year. Highly recommend Mathnasium even for advanced coursework.
my son was falling behind in math,after he came to mathnasium he became very strong and he went on top of his class.
My son had just 5 weeks of preparation at Mathnasium for the HSPT, and he ended with a 96 National Percentile. Because of that, he entered in the Honors Programs in the 3 well known high school where he applied. He got merit-schlarships in all 3. Schools indicated he will get the Honors status in all his transcripts, which will help at the time of college.

I was really impressed with Mathnasium. My daughter was falling behind in math but now is 100% more confident and excelling in Math. She loved coming to the program and working with the teachers. I hope to get my younger daughter in the program soon she is eager to learn more in math. Although she is not falling behind she would love to advance her skills and knowledge to be an expert among her peers.
The kids love Blue Ash Mathnasium and want to go back every summer. They are challenged and we notice improvement in their school scores as well as motivation for learning math. Travis runs a great program!
Kudos to Mathnasium for the excellent professional and staff-friendly environment. My child loves going there and loves learning there.

I struggle with the total cost for three kids going. I am comparing to a private tutor and it may be more beneficial.

Great way to keep skills intact over the summer months. My children enjoy going and are happy when the school year begins as they have a bit of a jump start on material covered.
My 10yo son loves going to Mathnasium in the summer. He just finished his third summer. I notice him getting excited to see his progress and to work toward goals. He seems more confident starting the school year and I think it's because he knows he has advanced his math knowledge.

My daughter went in hating math, and by time she finished she enjoyed it like it wasn't even class but a game!
My daughter really excelled in the SCPP* thanks to the personalized training at Mathnasium. She scored 99 in math/science and 93 in the reading/language portion.
