I like the systematic way of teaching math and building on what has already been taught. I appreciate the stamps/cards/problems of the week as motivational tools. I also appreciate the feedback I receive every 3 months on my kids (though the feedback times often feel rushed- maybe with 3 kids we should schedule an hour?). Also I wish there was a way it could be more fun/engaging for my 11 year old. I get that not every student is going to really like math, but I still believe there has to be some sort of hook to help him enjoy the subject more or be more engaged in the learning. Cheyenne has a great depth of knowledge and I really appreciate her work with all the students.

My daughter was frustrated when completing math homework and didn’t process the information. After one month she was earning an A in her course work. Now she comprehends the steps and is able to tackle her homework independently.

It would be nice to have a Saturday in-person or virtual option every other Saturday from 8 a.m. -12 p.m. during the summer for families who work later during the weekday and may not be able to arrive at Mathnasium by 5:30 p.m. Monday -Thursday. In some ways, it takes away the value of a one-year agreement not having Saturdays available. I realize staffing is a challenge, and memberships are likely down during the summer months.
This is our first time using Mathnasium. If I had known about the adjusted summer hours, I would have likely chosen the six-month package and continued the summer as time allowed.
This is not a complaint but an observation and perhaps something to consider as an option for families in the future.
The kids love Mathnasium, especially with the teachers always willing to help and going above and beyond to make sure students understand what is being taught. The learning environment and style at Mathnasium makes it really easy to learn, plus the kids like the fact that they do not have to bring work home from Mathnasium.
I enrolled my grandson in Mathnasium half way through his Freshman year. He had trouble adjusting to high school and math in particular. Now three and one half years later he is ready to graduate. He's gone through Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry and Calculus. The lessons he learned at Mathnasium helped not only with Math but helped him know how to study in all his classes. He has earned a full ride scalar ship for college. So the cost of classes at Mathnasium are turning out to be a real money savings. Thanks Mathnasium!
We’ve seen great improvement from our son . We can’t thank the Champlain instructor’s enough for the positive impact they made with our son. We’ve seen a boost in his confidence, knowledge, and being engaged and excited to learn.
I switched my two sons and my niece from another math center to mathnasium. They came out of mathnasium with a smile on their faces so that’s a 10 in my book.

I appreciate the systematic test of what skills the students know and don't know. I also like that the students work on 1 short topic and then gain mastery of it so that they have a sense of accomplishment. The instructors are helpful and I appreciate the feedback on each session. I don't understand the difference between "study habits" and "focus" though as they seem very similar to me. I really like the online scheduling tool and that it now even allows you to reschedule or change appointments when needed.
I thoroughly appreciate the one-on-one progress report updates. These meetings allow me to understand how my child is learning and developing indeed. I see the confidence my child is gaining in math, and that brings me joy knowing he is in the right learning environment to support him through challenging math concepts. Walking in Mathnasium feels welcoming even as a parent. I am greeted by name, and seeing all the kids being greeted by name is a unique experience. Fallon and her team do an outstanding job of making learning math enjoyable.
My daughter’s Math grades have already improved within one month!
Our daughter has increased her math understanding by a great deal over the past 3 months that we have been with Mathnasium. We were worried she wouldn't want to go and she actaully looks forward to her sessions with the instructors. It's been very good for her and we are starting to see improvement in her middle school math classes as well.

One Saturday we came in the building half the lights were out. I think the location should consider better lighting perhaps LED long bulbs.
