Our son needed math tutoring after getting behind during the pandemic. His math grades were in the 30-40% range before we signed him up with Mathnasium, and within a couple of months had increased to the 70-80% range. We are looking forward to even more improvement!
Our son struggles with Math, but the positive and personalized approach at Mathnasium has been exactly what he needs! Definitely recommend for anyone whose kid is struggling, just wants to fill in gaps, or be exposed to upcoming concepts to build their math confidence.

Our 11 y/o son has attended Mathnasium for almost a year, and he loves it! He started going 3 days per week when we realized he needed consistent support to fill in gaps in his math. I was amazed that he liked going to work for an hour on his hardest subject after school. But he leaves his sessions feeling happy and proud of what he accomplished. The people at the center build relationships with him and always find positive ways to encourage him. The whole experience is so positive!
His confidence in math has vastly improved, so his willingness to learn has just kept growing. We increased his sessions to 4 days per week when we began homeschooling him 4 months ago, and his progress has increased even more.

Mathnasium has been a great experience! Very happy with the homework help and the progress made and learning math skills that were not acquired due to covid lockdowns etc. Math grades are really improved, and the struggles are gone!

Our son struggles in math, but he loves going to Mathnasium! I think it is because of the relationships the staff has built with him, the process they use to teach that keeps him feeling like he is succeeding, and the rewards he earns. It is just such a positive environment, which has made a huge impact on his ability to learn through his struggles.
My ADHD child has always struggled in Math and for the last 2 years we've been trying to catch him up. We did a good job but it was a struggle. Now he's really catching up and Loves going. He loves his tutors and looks forward to going twice a week. He has accomplished so much in just a few weeks. I'm so glad we put him in it, and worth every penny!
Barbara was helpful, kind and professional in guiding my granddaughter’s journey! Joe was amazing helping her through tutoring (college level algebra)! There was no one who was comparable for her as Joe. And, after two times of her taking the class, unsuccessfully on her own, she was thrilled she passed after working with Joe.
She will be back, if needed, for any future math courses. And, yes, we’ve already referred some others.

Before Mathnasium my 14 year old son did not understand Math, he would get so frustrated was unable to complete the work and dreaded going to school. Now he loves math and going to Mathnasium! He said the Teachers are fun and they explain things well in a way that’s easy to understand.

Our son struggles in math, so we tried this to help him get caught up. He happily goes 3 times per week! We are amazed they can make it fun enough for him to willingly work on math outside of school and in the summer! He is making progress and feeling more confident about his math skills!
It has taken the frustration out of not only math but all subjects. I feel it is the low staff to student ratio and exposure to academic material that has drastically improved or almost eliminated the anxiety and stress my children had when learning new material in elementary. It smoothed the transition from pandemic isolation to structured routine in a public school. If I arrive early my kids are begging me to let them to go in right away. They love it and I will keep them going as long as we can. The peace of mind that I am gifting them with a solid foundation in math is priceless.
Our son had failing grades last year for 7th grade math. We found out through testing with Mathnasium Clear Lake that he was in need of acquiring math skills that he didn't get in 5th and 6th grade and from the start of the pandemic. So far for 8th grade math, he has maintained A's and B's. We could not be more pleased with the progress he has made and the better understanding of current homework assignments and previous skills improvements.
We think this a great program! School are not able to really teach the level of math necessary for a child to really succeed.
My son has been attending since the Fall of 2021. He looks forward to learning, being challenged and all of the people there. When I ask him about school, he never has much to say about math. When I ask him about mathnasium, his face lights up. He just cannot wait to tell me how he was challenged and how proud he feels about himself. He find himself helping others at school and really enjoys it. He says that if there is a sciencenasium to please sign him up there also. ;)
