My kindergarten son looks forward to going three times each week. He comes home so excited about the mastery checks he completed and the stars he earned! Love that it is in person and he can learn alongside other children.
We have been there just about a month and so far very impressed! My daughter loves going, which makes us so happy because math is her struggle. We are so hopeful some of her gaps will close!
Dan the center director has been great to work with. He was very quick to respond, focused in on my son's specific AP Calc BC needs and has been doing a great job working with him. My son is very pleased with his sessions. He says Dan is very good at teaching the material and getting right to the heart of where he is getting stuck. His grade has been steadily improving in his math class. He had missed 3 weeks of school due to an illness which left gaps in his knowledge, but things are turning around now.

We have been working with Dan on math for my college student in calculus. He had difficulty passing his college-level class. Thanks to Dan he currently has a "B" grade and this is his 3rd attempt at the class. Dan is super professional, fast at responding to questions/concerns and awesome when it comes to working with outside teachers & professors. I highly recommend Mathnasium!!
My son was doing well in math in Kindergarten and seemed to enjoy it, so we enrolled him in Mathnasium over the summer to keep him interested and encourage him. The director at our center, Dan, is absolutely amazing. I asked my son what his favorite thing we've done this summer, including hockey, roller blade hockey with friends, T-ball, water park, park, movies, etc, and he said his math class (which surprised me quite honestly because we've tried to fit in a lot of fun). At home, he talks a lot about numbers ("mommy- what's 1+4+100+99") and even negative numbers. I love that he is interested and having fun!

My daughter is truly enjoying her learning experience! Before joining Mathnasium, she was frustrated with learning math. I tried my best to help but, because I learned a different way to solve math problems, my efforts weren't working. I am very happy to have enrolled my daughter at Mathnasium! After just one session my daughter was excited to have joined and now can't get enough of math! The staff is great and Mr. Dan is really tuned in to what these kids need to succeed! Thank you so much for all your efforts!!

Mathnasium has helped our son find his confidence in math and we have seen a huge increase in his performance in math. Great way for kids to learn math
We have had great communication and thorough support from the director and tutors. Our daughter hasn’t been enrolled for very long, so we haven’t had a chance to see growth yet, but we are especially thankful to have Mathnasium during the shelter-at-home order. We appreciate the staff working hard to make sure she can work remotely.
Thank you all so much for the help that you are providing my daughter helping her understand math more and although she still may not like math her improvement is what counts the fact that she likes to go to Mathnasium is a start of some success. The kids love going to Mathnasium and they are learning math that they could not get at school. They tell me you are teaching them how to think through the multiplication table. I still think they need to memorize them and not have to think through for the answer.

We cannot say enough good things about Mathnasium! In a very short period of time, they were able to prove to our teen that math CAN be explained and understood. Carlos and Dan were able to take complex problems and explain the theories of how to solve them. Our son was able to ace his final and hit second semester with a firm understanding of the first semester’s work. They did in a few weeks what his class teacher was unable to do throughout the entire first semester. We would strongly recommend to anyone who is struggling to understand the explanations they are currently receiving.
We love working with Dan @ the carol stream location. He is very kind and has accommodated us every single time. He has helped my son with his challenging curriculum in advanced math. He is an excellent teacher and resource.
