My son joined Mathnasium in 2013. In the first 6 months, he progressed 2 "grade levels" worth of material. In addition, the owner recognized our son's hunger for learning, and encouraged us to seek gifted services for him. With his help, our son has now been accepted into the Gifted and Talented Program with Washoe County. Mathnasium has improved our son's life immensely. My son is enjoying his time there and feels more confident about Math than before Mathnasium. I do wish I had more of an update from them regarding his progress though.
I really like the flexibility and the teachers are excellent and have lots of patience.
My daughter started this year and her improvement has been phenomenal!! Her math grade was raised from a D to a B. She really enjoys going, loves all the tutors and wants to go. This has been the best decision in regards to her education that we have made. Joe runs a great place and we are so happy for her progress and the outcome. I cannot wait to see what happens this next year!!

Our daughter has gained a great sense of confidence when it comes to math, now. Even if she doesn't recognize exactly how to do a problem, she will try to figure it out, instead of skipping it. She feels better about herself, being "smart" and getting good grades. As a family, we are happy she has made this change, and we will continue with her tutoring.

I like this place because my daughters are very comfortable here, and all the people are nice.
My child learned how to overcome teacher personality conflict by seeing the suject nmaater with these tutors wh made her understand frequency of study habits and committing to create a new behavior in herself created different test results. You guys rock!
My son has been attending regularly (about 3 days a week) for five months. We just got his standardized MAP scores back, and he took a big jump. He was at grade level (2nd) in December, and had scores this Spring that were in the 5th, 8th, and 11th grade levels!
My son has been trying to get into the GT Program. We had him enrolled in Mathnasium as a way to challenge him until he was able to be tested/placed. Joe not only provided us with resources, he also customized our son's curriculum accordingly. When our son finally did take the test, he said, "it was easy, Mom!". I highly recommend Mathnasium to meet your child's needs right where they are.

My daughter can do her homework now without tears thx to mathnasium . She gets lots of help when it gets harder to understand math reading . This is a big problem for her because she speaks three languages . She will continue to stay in mathnasium for long time because she feels comfortable and no stress to learn . She is not afraid to ask questions and study more . It is like home .
Mathnasium has changed Sam's overall attitude with Math and his teacher this year!! I couldn't believe the difference plus he's testing higher now. I will be keeping him in this program really until he's able to work there and tutor. 😉

The Mathnasium is helping my daughter learn math because they are patient and care about each individual child. They care about teaching the basics a child needs to learn to have a solid math foundation. My daughter is enthusiastic and often wants to go to the math center more days a week than we are signed up for.

Keith has really improved in math, although he really feels he needs more homework help at times in addition to Mathnasium curriculum.

We are pleased to feel that our son will go to middle school with all the math tools he needs to succeed. He likes going to Mathnasium so the learning is easy and fun. It's a great professional and friendly place to learn.

After a month at Mathnasium my boys have more confidence when doing their math homework. They actually enjoy going to the center for their hour long session twice a week. I hope I see continued improvement in their math skills. I've already recommended Mathnasium to a friend who has a son struggling in math :).

There is a lot of positive energy in the room. All the tutors are very enthusiastic and seem very dedicated to their students. Appreciated that they are college-age...think it is easier for kids to approach them. You are sent progress reports, and Joe will explain the results. The center teaches kids how to approach math problems a little differently then what might be taught in school...but think it looks easier and might be more readily retained as kids get into higher levels of mathematics. My 8th grader is pretty willing to go...so I think he enjoys it (without admitting it to me).
