This is optimal environment with small group learning. The Sunnyvale location is quiet and no kids are running around and speaking loud.
Mathnesium has worked really well for my son who started when he was finishing middle school. The flexible work environment and friendly staff really worked wonderfully for his personality type and increased his confidence in time for high school.
We have been very happy so far with Mathanasium and this center. Ms Leena is a great Director, very responsive and caring for the kids. Other tutors are also very good at this center.

Both the director and asst director understood my daughter’s strengths and weaknesses better than her teachers at school. They took the time to observe her working through problems in order to understand root causes of underperformance. The asst director also did some of the tutoring, and she worked with our daughter on the questions she missed do that our daughter learned from her mistakes, rather than continuing drills without personalized feedback.
My daughter likes what she's learning from this afterschool tutorial. This helps her feel confident with her math skills and she is still learning and not stress out with math problems. Her tutors are great and very helpful.

My fifth grade daughter has had a very positive experience at Mathnasium Sunnyvale. She has always struggled in Math but for the first time ever she is actually understanding word problems, fractions, and decimals. She likes all three of the tutors working with her. In the past we spent $150 an hour on educational therapy which got her no where, so we think the tutoring rates at Mathnasium are very reasonable. My daughter also has multiple learning disabilities which has complicated her learning experience but the tutors at Mathnasium are able to advance her. Lisa L.

All of the tutors have been wonderful! They are always patient and caring, since math has become a difficult subject, due to common core.
The Sunnyvale Mathnesoum person does a great job with selecting topics.. If the timing can be up to 7.30 or 8pm, we can make the most out of it.
