At the end of the last school year, after nearly a year and a half of virtual learning, my daughter was in the "does not approach grade level" category on her 4th grade end of grade math test. After six months of attending Mathnasium of Prosper 3-4 times per week, we just got a phone call from my daughter's principal that said that she PASSED her 5th grade end of year math exam and no longer needs remediation!!
Equally as remarkable is the fact that my daughter happily attends Mathnasium tutoring 3-4 days every week without complaint. She is highly motivated by finishing lessons and getting ice cream and prizes :), and we are tickled that it WORKS!
My daughter told me last week that "Mathnasium teachers are nicer than teachers at school." I think that she appreciates being greeted when she arrives, the cheerful support she receives during her lessons, and the positive relationships that she has built with Ms. Jen and staff.

Mathnasium of Prosper is WONDERFUL! For some of us, math is stressful and not fun. But the way things are done at Mathnasium makes it fun! My daughter showed interest in math so we are trying to foster that and the tutors at Mathnasium do such a great job making it not only fun but personalized for each student. Ms. Jen is an absolute treasure--its obvious she loves what she does and she is so professional. We feel really good about leaving our child in the capable hands of the staff every week. She always comes home and tells us what she did that day and how much fun it was!
Mathnasium is my daughter's second home. Jen Sanchez is almost literally "second mama" and makes Prosper Mathnasium more than just a place of study - she makes it a fun second home for the kids. Her always-time-to-talk style makes parents and children both feel valued, and the fact that she draws from the local schools for her staff shows a strong commitment to the community.
I have absolutely no doubt that there is a real, measurable, significant impact on my daughter's academic progress and mental well-being, knowing that she now both enjoys math and is comfortable with her ability to do challenging work in the field.
I can not say enough great things about this place. They have helped my daughter so much with her math skills and confidence with math. The staff is terrific and the owner, Jen, care so much for all the kids and their success.

We feel so blessed to have found Mathnasium in Prosper! Our 5th grade son, who is usually strong in math, has some gaps that may be due to Covid shut-downs and virtual learning during his 3rd and 4th grade school years. As soon as we learned of his struggles this year, we immediately searched for support for him that would be rooted in the best research-based practices. My husband and I are both teachers so we are picky with how we invest our time and money and we wanted to make sure that our child was getting the best support. We couldn't be happier with how Jen Sanchez runs the Mathnasium program in Prosper. It was exactly what we were looking for! An added bonus is that our kid loves to go, too!
