My granddaughter was been in Mathnasium since she was in grade 2. She is in grade 5 now. I have difficulty teaching her in Math but now I have nothing to worry because I was very confident for her about this subject. My child's math skills have improved a lot ever since she joined Mathnasium. We really like how the customized plan works like a step ladder and the math homework help is an added bonus, evenings are now peaceful as we don't have home works wars.

We have been with Mathnasium when my child started grade 7 and her basic math skills were not upto the mark, I'm glad I found you guys and the first learning plan you helped her with acted as a morale booster,we could clearly see that she was understanding the concepts..and as a result her confidence was on the rise. She's taking Grade 11 Math now and is fully confident! Shalu, THANK YOU so much for being so very flexible and accomodating with our crazy schedules.
This is our daughter's second year at Mathnasium. She improved so much last year thanks to her wonderful tutor at Mathnasium. Our daughter is in grade 11 but is taking grade 12 math this year and gets help with her homework. We highly recommend Mathnasium.
Mathnasium has been a great experience for our daughter now in grade 11. She started in the summer to help get a head start and has been doing very well thus far. She loves her teacher helper and always comes home happy. We have a crazy sports schedule and Shalu has been great accommodating us, always kind and great at communicating.

We are absolutely thrilled with our sons progress that we have seen in the last year since he joined mathnasium. Our son Karan has been to 2 other math programs before this one and 1 was way too advanced and he didn't like it at all so we pulled him after 1 week if a kid isn't having fun learning at his level he won't progress in my opinion and the other one before that he was in that one for over a year or so and it was good experience they tried really hard with him it had its benefits but eventually he levelled off and didn't enjoy going as much as he joined late and was with a mixed level group of kids and he just for whatever reason stopped enjoying and having fun and didn't want to go, so once again we thought we should not force him so we pulled him even though they were sad to see him go they liked having him in the class the owner was his teacher she wanted more time but we gave some more time to her but then in the end it was a no go from our son so we pulled him too much pressure is no good and he just stopped enjoying those techniques he was learning there. Now getting to current program Mathnasium with shalu on Scott road Surrey, this one so far has been wow he just keeps going and going no complaints he goes twice a week and luvs it and it is individually tailored to him his learning BUT in a group environment so he has other kids all around but total 100% what he is learning at all times is just for him specific at his level but he gets to be part of a group but there all learning at there own levels, so in my experience this is unique in that his instructor when he/she is working with him which is for the full hour monitoring him its his own level, and the instructors jump between few kids on a table and every table has instructors on it for say 1 to 3 kids. its great setup and to top it off u get an assessment at the start a full exam which determines where your kid is at and they design specific modules with your kids level and he/she comes there and works on improving and learning what he/she is not good at and learning proper mathematics and methods. So it is a very very tailor made specific program for your child and I highly recommend u try it or go for a evaluation and talk to if you go to this location Shalu who is excellent and will handle your child with great care, She has been excellent for us and I'm customer service type person and I feel we are getting our moneys worth with Shalu and her team. As u watch your sons progress u can see how she takes all her kids progress and treats it like a family environment she really wants your kids to progress and grow and is fully involved with her team and all students, great environment. They also have there own teaching techniques that are mathnasium specific so thats what makes this different then other similar places. We highly recommend u try mathnasium and go visit Shalu and go for an evaluation to see if it is right fit for your child... theres nothing better than knowing your child won't have to struggle in math in school and build confidence in mathematics...hope it works out for all families who reads this review......
