Mathnasium has been an absolute game-changer for both of my kids. I have one who hates math and mathnasium got her through it with good grades. She is now in college and sailing through college calculus thanks to her past years at mathnasium. My younger child loves math and loves that the tutors at mathnasium have helped her continue to excel and maintain that enthusiasm. My daughter can pop in after school any time she needs help with a concept or problem set. There is always someone able to break through her confusion. There is instant relief as the concept is clarified in terms she understands. Her grade is climbing steadily and her confidence and competence are restored. It's not outside the realm of possibility that she might get an A! It is a wonderful safety net. Makes me wonder how she would feel about math if we had tried mathnasium prior to calculus senior year.
I am a high school English teacher, not a math teacher and I can not tutor my own children in the advanced maths. If it weren't for mathnasium, my children would not be as successful as they are.
