Our daughter was struggling with pre-calc in the fall when she started Mathnasium - she ended the school year with an 88%. Attending tutoring allowed her to concentrate on the concepts - which we believe helped her to raise her SAT math score as well.

My son started as month on month as we were not sure if he would like it. However, he has now liked it very much that we have moved to annual. We like how its hands off in its approach to teach the kids various concepts of Math. Flexibility in choosing the classes based on the kid's availability is a big plus point for us. Each curriculum is built on the child's aptitude and focusses on their strengths and weak points. Highly recommend Mathnasium!! Love the McMurray center and Director Steve, who walked my son and I through the process.

We are very happy with Mathnasium. My son loves to attend the sessions from Mathnasium and he has gained more interest in Mathematics as a whole.
My daughter went from getting Fs in math last school year to getting As and Bs this school year. Her confidence in math has increased and she is able to do her homework independently with no tears! I am so grateful for everything Mathnasium has done for her!

Mathnasium is amazing. It works. My daughter always wanted to be in advanced math but she was told she was not smart enough to be in advanced math, due to grades and lack of confidence. She started Mathnasium at the end of 6th grade. By the beginning of 8th grade her enriched math teacher said she really liked that my daughter as willing to find out the answers not just say "i don't understand this". The teacher said that she could tell that she was understanding the material and now math is one of her best subjects. She is going into honors math in high school. Mathnasium has been nothing but a positive experience.
Mathnasium has been a huge help for my daughters for SAT/ACT preparation. The instructors do an excellent job making their experience enjoyable, and it has helped their scores improve significantly.
We have already seen a major improvement in our son’s math skills and performance in the 1 month that we have been attending the tutoring sessions. We wish that we would have made this decision sooner. Initially, we didn’t think that he would be very enthusiastic to get the extra help, but it has turned out to be a positive experience all the way around.

Its expensive but if your child learns and has confidence doing math its worth the price. If only the schools would take there approach.

My child has been with Mathnasium for close to 4 years now. The one on one attention he receives has made a tremendous difference to his understanding and performance. They almost tailor it for the way he receives and processes the information.
We have been taking the lessons remotely for about 3.5 years now and it works seamlessly.
Every now and then we run into schedule conflicts and Mathnasium as always accommodated our requests for a different hour.
I highly recommend it!

Mathnasium McMurray Center is an excellent place for children to strengthen their math skills. The director is a dedicated and experienced educator who truly cares about each student’s progress. I’ve met him several times and was impressed by the detailed and thoughtful way he tracks every child’s development.
The center offers flexible scheduling options, making it convenient for both students and parents. Overall, I’ve been very happy with the Mathnasium program and the supportive learning environment it provides.
One area for improvement would be offering parents more insight into their child’s specific strengths and challenges. For families who wish to be more involved, additional progress details would be very helpful.
