I really appreciate that the director knows all the kids and directs them where to go at the beginning of each session. I also like that my son stays with one tutor each session so he/she gets to know him.

The kids all love going to Mathnasium. The oldest (7th grader) was not confident in math & is now feeling more confident in her skills. My 5th grade son is sometimes like I don’t want to go... & when I pick him up he is always happy that he went! My 3rd grader loves math & wants to go everyday if she could. It has really helped her advance her skills & she placed in top 2% for Iowa Testing.
I really appreciate the flexibility when I need to change time/days on short notice. Both boys enjoy going and feel accomplished after a session.
We have been consistently thrilled with Mathnasium for the past 4 years. Our son’s grades went up a whole
Letter grade and has consistently stayed there. He is always happy to go to Mathnasium and we have now started sending his younger brother. I highly recommend it!
Easy, convenient. The lessons are helpful to my child, and she enjoys her interactions with the tutors.
My daughter is really being helped by Mathnasium Westlake. Her standardized test scores are improving and her class grades are stabilizing.
If I can make one comment, though - when the tutors help her with homework, sometimes the problems come home incorrect and I have gotten to the point of verifying each homework problem that she does there. Given her grade situation, we cannot afford to send in homework taht does not get FULL credit. Also, they do not encourage neatness in her work. I believe a neat organized approach to "proving your work" helps you understand the work and enables you to keep it organized for presentation and for comprehension. I enforce that at home, but the homework she brings home from Mathnasium is an absolute MESS!
This is not a major problem for me...just something I wanted to mention. Overall we are very happy with our experience and Carmen really seems to enjoy it there...she goes 4 times a week, so it would be a real problem if she didn't find some joy and satisfaction there.
Our daughter's confidence with Math has improved tremendously, and now she has a deeper understanding of the material and concepts. She is taking an advanced Math and doing well, and still wants to come to Mathnasium. It's very reassuring to her to know that if she doesn't understand something, she will have the opportunity to really spend time with the material and work it out. I love how Kitty checks in on a regular basis to confirm what is working and what can be worked on with our daughter. We have noticed quite an improvement on her skill sets in both Geometry and now Algebra II. We really appreciate all that you all do there to help our daughter succeed!

I have actually recommended Mathnasium to several people. I have three main reasons that I love Mathnasium:
1. They are super flexible. With kids, schedules seem to always change. The ladies who run our Mathnasium are always willing to move things around if they have space.
2. My son never argues about going to Mathnasium. For a teenage boy to be willing to go to math tutoring, the people there must be special!
3. And the biggest reason: Mathnasium has improved his grades in a big way. He makes top scores in his math class now and he completely credits Mathnasium for it.

Mathnasium has been fantastic for our daughter. She goes 1x per week and more if there is a big test. She finds the tutors incredibly helpful and on top of their game. They are also flexible during holiday periods and always try to accommodate additional sessions as required. It's clear that the people running it really care about our children and their ability to do well in math!
