My 14 year old was struggling with math and wanted to go to Jones, so she needed to do better if she wanted a chance. The good news is that after about 6 months at mathnasium she aced the CPS high school entrance exam (98th percentile). Her score on the MAP test, which was earlier, was great, but dragged her down a bit in the overall score. She missed the tier 4 cut off by 5 points.
The great thing is that I saw her confidence improve dramatically as a result of actually understanding math (not just the questions on the test). And not just in math. Mathnasium was a great thing all around. She's happy at high school, even though it's not jones.
Now I'm sending my 10 yr old there. She loves school, but doesn't like school work. Even so, she likes mathnasium and I hoping for similar results. This program is awesome and I can't be more enthusiastic about recommending it!

Our 6yo enjoys the math enrichment, and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
Our daughter loves math and asked if she could participate in a math camp this summer. We did our research and chose Mathnasium. We could not be more happy. She loves going to Mathnasium and is excelling. She can't wait to go twice each week and is completely disheartened if we have a conflicting activity, including a vacation, which precludes her from attending. She absolutely LOVES math club (which is what we call it)... and so do we!!!
Our Abigail likes going and learning. This is her second time around and she is now in high school. It’s a great learning experience to build confidence.
