My son was very behind in his math skills and beginning to shut down from frustration. Mathnasium offered young "cool" tutors to help him build his skills, which increased his confidence level. He also enjoyed earning points for being successful at certain math skills and using them to "buy" goodies. He went from not meeting grade level standards to meeting (actually exceeding) grade level standards!
My daughter improve her grades 18% in a couple of months and her ACT grade increased 4 points.
