Ravi is a great owner! Our daughter struggled to want to come at first and I spoke to him about it. He worked with his team and they went out of their way to be extra encouraging with her. In a matter of weeks, she was asking to come back and wanting to stay longer!
I’m so thankful to Ravi and Mathnasium. My daughter could do math before, but it seem to cause her anxiety and she lacked confidence. I worried that one day I’d wake up and she’d be in high school saying, “I’ve never been good at Math”. Mathnasium’s approach worked! Her 1st Grade teachers have noticed the improvement and independence. Thank you Mathnasium!
Mathnasium allows students to work at their own pace and ask Math instructor questions when needed. Just really great for students who don’t want to be pressured. There’s also no set schedule or time. You can go to the center whenever it is open.
I really like the model. Flexibility with timing and days, proper way to check kids skills and concentrate on where the help is really needed, Also helping the kid to balance and do well with school homework, no more stress of doing so much HW from the extra class... I love every single aspect. I don’t know how the kid is utilizing it but no complaints from the kid about anything and told it’s a calm place to do the work. Thankyou for such a great idea to help kids. Lots of Thanks. Willing to see the progress of my kid.
It’s a great set up. I like the flexibility that Ravi’s branch has in Cupertino.
It is wonderful to have the online option. However often he is spending a great deal of time typing out all the steps to all of the questions rather than simply typing out all of the steps to a few questions and giving the answers to the rest while doing the work on the paper. It would be better to do the latter and then if he misses a question he only gave the answer for, that is when he should show all the steps again. This way time is not wasted on typing.

Summer drop-in tutoring with a structured program for both review of previous year curriculum and readiness for upcoming curriculum was a good fit for our high school student who struggled after 1 1/3 years of exclusive distance learning. Our student will continue in the fall and we would recommend Mathnasium to others who are trying hard to stay on top of challenging math concepts.
