Within 6-7 sessions, my daughter’s progress report showed 75% of total learning plan skills mastered! She began struggling with math in 2nd grade and will enter 5th grade the new school year. My child had a great experience at Mathnasium. In 7 months of tutoring he had gone from grades C's and D's to A's and B's. Within one quarter of his borderline D in Math became an A and I was totally impressed on the skills that he had learned in that amount of time. I highly recommend!
Excellent resource for children, especially in the midst of a pandemic. Accomodating with scheduling changes and willing to accomodate lifes little nuciances. So greatful and thankful for Mr. O in the midst.

Great instructors that connects well with the kids. Plus really see the confidence my child has now when it comes to math.
I am likely to refer individuals to this company. I believe that the tutors are highly skilled, personable, profession, patient, and accomodating to the needs of my child. However, I have identified an areaa of improvement. I am concerned with tutors do not always begin on time and they do not provide makeup instructional time. In fact, they are consistant about ending on time per the schedule.
Also, I am concerned with the fact that sometimes I notice that the tutors multitask between students. There have been times when my child was having difficulties and had to wait for more than 5 mins for a tutor to return. I feel if I pay for a hour instructional time, the tutor should be focused on one individual student without disruptions. My child already is slow to process new information and is not always sure that she fully understands a concept and knows how to communicate it.
A tutor must be fully present to effectively identify problem areas. If a tutor is not fully present then he or she will not be able to quickly identify problem areasm if his or her attention is divided. I am a special education teacher so I speak from a place of experience also I know my child. The purpose for providing my child with a tutor was to give her individualized math intervention from a different teacher who might use different teaching strategies other than myself and her teacher because of her learning style. My grandson has grown in his confidence and knowledge of 4th grade math concepts, Ms. T is a great teacher and my grandson trusts her. The center is clean and well kept. Ms T engages well with the scholars. My grandson had a "C" average in his class and has now earned an "A" at midterm grade time. The tutors are people centered, kind, fun (while playing games) and focused on teaching the rules of math. The atmosphere is positive and as a parent/grandparent, it feels good to walk in and see our young people handling their academic business

From day 1 We have had open communication and great organization with Mr O and found her weaknesses. It has only been a little over a month and I can already see an improvement and less hesitation when it comes to math.
Pretty simple, they improved my math-struggling son's math scores and attitude towards the subject.
I appreciate how the management is professional and accommodating, particularly under the extraordinarily difficult constraints that have been placed upon us due to COVID. Were it not for Mathnasium my son would be struggling in school during this distance learning. It’s expensive, but the value we receive is worth twice the tuition amount we currently pay.
Owner/Center Director Amaechi Onyeali (favorably called Mr. O) and team at the Chicago Evergreen Park location have done an excellent job at keeping my daughter focused on math, even during the changes due to COVID. The transition from onsite to online instruction was seamless where actually my daughter has expressed to me that she likes doing Mathnasium at home even more! I am very pleased with the progress reports that I receive that shows her mastery in skills even beyond the curriculum she receives at school.

Mathnasium is a very nice tutoring facility. My daughter’s teacher Ms. T. has assisted her in grasping the concepts of geometry. She has performed better in class and achieved higher test scores. I definitely recommend Mathnasium!!
