My son Jalen Burton has been going to mathnasium now for about 4 weeks or more and since he first started he has made a huge progress with his math!! I like mathnasium and so does he!!
Mathnasium provided a great atmosphere for learning that my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. The tutors were attentive to my child's needs and helped to increase her grades in school. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium to anyone seeking a math tutor because of the high level of quality service they provide.
My son went to Mathnaium reluctantly however he is very excited and engaged with the teachers and the program. The points system really motivates him. He commented that he did not expect learning math could be so much fun.
So far we are pleased with the short term results.
Mathnasium is a well designed program that does not limit my child to what he can do in a given time. Unlike another program I have tried, the center did not try to sell me a package for few months, before I see my son doing the challenging work he needs to be doing, appropriate to his class. The limit only comes from the child's will to do the work in a timely manner. More tutor engagement could be given to kids who need that little nudge to accomplish a goal before leaving the center. My son also likes prize after a certain number worksheets. I gave this center a 9 because there is always room for improvement.
The assesment was very thorough in identifying areas in need of improvement, & the math instructors are very patient.

My 7 yr old has grown an incredible amount in the few short weeks she has been attending. Her math confidence has improved and her basic understanding of concepts is growing with each visit. She is eager to go and work hard for great rewards and loves the instructors. Hands down this is the BEST thing we could have ever done for her to improve her math skills. It really is amazing!!
