My daughter spent only a short time with them this summer but really enjoyed her time there. It was a good mix of independent work with guidance. She also enjoyed her teachers, felt welcomed by all, and did not hesitate to ask questions. (She is a fairly shy child.)

The staff was courteous and professional, mostly listening to my sons' needs for help.
I found that the method helped my son and I appreciate the overall attitude of the tutors. Mr. Najarian's professionalism and openness to give and take feedback were a plus. I also enjoyed the fact that they were willing to build up skills so your child meets grade level, and still help them with current homework assignments.
I have been extremely happy with the math tutoring at Mathnasium of Mission Gorge. Tommy is an amazing teacher and he goes out of his way to make sure every student's needs are met. He is passionate about his work and teaching every student that attends the center.
The approach that Tommy used worked magnificently for our daughter who improved her math ACT score by 4 points on her second try. Even though our daughter is not highly motivated and skipped multiple sessions during an intense 3-month review leading up to the ACT, she still did fabulously while relying only on Mathnasium (i.e., no outside studying).

My daughter was having some trouble towards the latter part of the school year. I took her into Mathnasium and Tommy and his team stepped in right away to assist her. Great team!

My daughter did one month worth of tutoring to refresh her skills prior to taking the ELM exam for admission to a CSU school. It was very helpful and she passed the exam! My only comment on ways to improve is to make it more well known that Mathnasium is not just for younger students but is a great resource for high school seniors preparing for this exam.

Anne Timmerman just got her results back from the CHSPE test on this past Wed. April 20th and she passed the math part of the test thanks to everyone at Mathnasium that worked with her!Really appreciate all the effort that the staff and manager put into the students. Great place to take your child. Tommy goes out of his way to work with parents and children to find what's works best for everybody. The staff is young and enthusiastic, and is very knowledgeable with all the different levels of common core math. We were very pleased with the whole process

I'm so impressed how so many kids are a part of this program, and we continue to get treated like it's a small business. Tommy is so wonderful and helpful. At the end of the year, my daughter had to fill our a form about what she has achieved during the school year. She wrote down that she overcame math, and she doesn't hate it (as much) anymore. She still has a long way to go, but the fact that she thinks she overcame it, is a step in the right direction. I give 100% of the credit to Mathnasium!
