Our family cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible team at Mathnasium in South Pasadena. In the wake of the Eaton fire, our lives were turned upside down, and ensuring stability for our daughter both emotionally and academically became our top priority. Mathnasium has been a beacon of support, providing not only top-tier math instruction but also genuine care, compassion, and flexibility during this difficult time.
Despite the challenges we faced as a fire-affected family, Mathnasium made sure our daughter continued to thrive. Their personalized approach, patient instructors, and unwavering encouragement have reinforced her confidence and love for learning. More than just a tutoring center, they have been a source of stability and reassurance, creating a safe and nurturing environment where she can grow.

Mathnasium has been a great place for our kids to gain confidence in their math skills. Thanks for everything!
My daughter was struggling with math and was below grade level. The school was not able to provide the support she needed to get her back on track but since coming to Mathnasium, she has made improvements and working her way back to grade level. She really enjoys the staff there, they are patient with her and provide a friendly environment and of course she loves earning her cards to get prizes!!
The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. They are patient and professional. They ease my child’s fears about math.
My son absolutely loves it. I'm so happy we decided to join. We started him with just 2 classes but he is asking me to add another day now.
My daughter loves going and learning math. I think she has learned more there than she has at school!
The staff at Mathnasium in South Pasadena are wonderful!! They were very kind and helpful with scheduling, and for a long time kept my sons engaged in learning extra math or reinforcing what they were learning at school. I know my boys especially liked working with Orrin. I think for elementary, early middle school, Mathnasium is fantastic! They simply reached a stage at which they felt they could learn what they wanted to in math without the extra help, and other obligations and activities were needing more time and attention. Thanks so much, Mathnasium at South Pasadena!
So far it's been great
I wish the material were consistent with the material taught in the specific districts. Thanks
Excellent
I think u do a great job. I appreciate the grace and patience for my kiddo who isn't necessarily easy to work with and doesn't want to always be there.
My daughter likes math, so she doesn’t mind doing extra math while earning points/cards for rewards. I think your reward system really got her roped in. :-)
The key to children's learning is persistence, which has indeed improved their grades
SO GREAT PLACE FOR OUR KIDS AND THANK YOU ALL TEACHERS~
My son's mathnasium experience has been excellent.... kids get motivated to learn. Takes the burden of teaching math off my shoulder...
I am grateful for the staff and how much my son has advanced. I recommend this center to others!
In just a few months, my 12-year-old son has transformed from believing he was inherently poor at math—"Maybe I was born that way"—to developing a profound confidence in tackling math and other subjects. This shift has fundamentally changed his approach to learning anything new, offering him a fresh perspective on mastering unfamiliar material. I'm thrilled we made the decision to enroll him. The grades he received from his public school didn't reflect the smart, confident boy we knew at home. We realized it wasn't him failing—it was the educational approach that wasn't working for him. With the right tutors and program, we've witnessed remarkable progress. We're overjoyed, and so is he!

Very happy with Mathnasium. Sometimes, it's hard to schedule my kids, but recently it's been much easier. One thing maybe is if the instructors could occasionally encourage my daughter to bring in her tests or homework from school if she wants. She always has been accelerated in math (due to Mathnasium), so she hasn't had to do that really before. But now that math is getting a little harder at school (she still does very well almost always), it could be good for her to do that sometimes. I think she forgets that is an option.
