Two of my children attend mathnasium with Mr. Jim and they ABSOLUTELY LOVE him! He makes math fun, interesting and “make sense!” Mathnasium is wonderful with talented tutors!!!
Both of my children have gone to Mathnasium in the middle school years and both have greatly benefited. The teachers are patient, kind and often show them short cuts or different ways to work through a problem. They also always teach them how to check their work. It has helped them both be more confident in test taking and is a great option for extra help if needed.
Very Friendly, clean, accomodating and professional environment! I have had 3 children at Mathnasium. Each, for very different reasons (remediation and enrichment) and at various times throughout their education. Jim is excellent at communicating and doing everything he can to work with your individual needs and design a plan and a schedule that is "just right" for your child.

When our son walked into Mathnasium for his test, he saw two other students from his class who were there for tutoring. The next day at school, his friends told him how helpful the tutors had been for them. This definitely helped our son feel better about going to tutoring and so far he has found this to be true, too. He is capable of doing the math, but the slower, more personalized pace with the tutor helps him to really get it.
Jim has always been able to find the right program and fit for our children's needs. All of the teachers were kind, professional and helped each child with their own specific need. It's a great environment of encouragement and providing students with ways to look at math in different ways and be able to check their work which in turn boosts confidence!
Our daughter struggled with Math so we looked into Mathnasium for help. Now, her math grades are impressive but more importantly her confidence is through the roof! She actually looks forward to going to Mathnasium. The teachers are wonderful and Jim, the owner, is amazing
