I am not happy with Common Core, and come to find out there are a lot of holes in this mathmatical process. We have only been doing this for one month but I am thrilled with our son's enthusiasm. He is building confidence and a clear understanding of the mathmatical processes. If a student can't build a proper foundation, when it comes to math, they cannot progress to the next step. Mathmatical success is built on a solid foundation of the processes. Middle School is a great time to start building this solid foundation. Best decision ever!

Mathnasium has been a wonderful experience so far for my daughter who, I have to admit, really did not want to go! One of her instructors, Samantha, makes it especially fun, and she was so happy to discover a few friends from school there!

It has only been about a month but we are starting to hear my daughter speak about math with excitement. There was a computer game played by her math teacher at school and it was regarding ratios. Just some of the stuff she has worked on at Mathnasium recently. She was pleased to do really well on the game at school.
