We have enjoyed our experience there. The only thing that is difficult is that sometimes my daughter gets a tutor that she feels does not fully explain the problems to her. They either rush through it too quickly. Or explain it and go to another student, and assume she understood the instruction. I think they need to slow down a little and really make sure the kids get it the first time. Maybe let them do one or two problems right in front of the tutor before giving them an entire sheet to do, after just one explanation.

Frances seems to really like the experience. I wish her retention were better but she says it helps and she is at least staying afloat. I can tell from her comments that she feels everyone is interested and that she is not invisible. We are pleased.

Mathnasium truly makes learning fun. Offering very organized, and individualized program that caters to each child's need is a major perk. In less than two months my child, as well as her teachers have noticed significant improvement. Best of all she LOVES every minute of Mathnasium.
