I think Mathnasium is great, and my son has benefited enormously from the experience. In fact, I think COVID-19, if it has a silver lining, has resulted in one-on-one 35 minute sessions that have been extremely helpful in keeping my son engaged with math.
I rank Mathnasium a nine and not a 10 only because there are sometimes inconsistency in the attention he gets when on location; that is, often times I see him sitting at the table waiting for the instructor to engage with him. That happens when there are more than three kids at the table, and often one of them is in a much higher grade than my son, and may be working on more complex math questions.
Our son has been with Mathnasium for years. We have seen the results in the classroom, as well as (and maybe most importantly) the boost of confidence that come from working alongside his wonderful tutors. Emily is incredible, and we have really appreciated her willingness to make things work with schedules, etc.
We thought our son might have had a math learning disability because he disliked it so much, and he never wanted to do homework. Then he started not trying at school. We all were so frustrated for him. A neighbor referred us to Mathnasium and the first day he went he said, “it just clicked!” We were so happy! Nothing has ever “clicked” with our son before so this felt like a miracle! He is so much more comfortable with math now and enjoys going to Mathnasium, 3 times a week! We are floored ... and so grateful. Thank you Emily and Mathnasium!

The wonderful Mathnasium of Lead Mine tutors have been there for my kids for years now. They find the time to address not only the day to day needs of students committed to bettering their understanding of mathematics, but also being there for those with special and individual needs. My children's grades have grown as they learned to love math through the understanding and guidance that the tutors have provided.
Since starting at Mathnasium my two students have improved their high school math grades and are much less stressed before a test. The detailed assessment for each student highlighted topics they need to focus on to achieve a firm foundation for current and future topics. The homework help gives my students extra practice to augment their homework assignments by their teachers.

When I took my son to Methenasium he had just started high school and was in Math 2. Suddenly he felt overwhelmed with high school and the speed the teacher was going at. His grade after 2 tests was 71%. It took Emily 1 hour to figure out what he needed and a month and a half later my son's grade at school had gone up. His last test he got 98% and his quiz was 101%. He loves his teachers at Methanasium, his school math teacher says he is now so confident and one of her best students. From 71% to 98% in less than 2 months. I really do appreciate Emily and her team.

Our son scored very high in Writing, English, and non-math areas, but had difficulties in Math. We tried other learning centers but Mathnasium Lead Mine location provided the tutoring that led to skills and confidence bringing him up to speed and improving his grades and SAT score substantially. Jeff and Emily had great follow through responding to all of our concerns and were flexible to assist us in achieving our goals.
My son now has confidence in his math skills thank to the wonderful Staff at Mathnasium Lead Mine. He is a rising sophmore and has already asked to make sure he is signed up for matnasium once school starts.
