My child has been about 1.5-2 yr behind in yearly state math testing for 4 years with insufficent math instruction at her school. Due to this, and her inattention struggles, she went through a psychoeducational evaluation and was praised by the academic evaluator for understanding many of the mathematical concepts she was accessed in. Her teachers were shocked when she accredited her recent math comprehension to the 1st 2 weeks of math tutoring at mathnasium. She additionally reports feeling a huge increase in competence and confidence in her math skills. It has only been 1.5 months so we cannot wait to see what her next yearly state math testing reveals.
We are very pleased with Mathnasium and their curriculum. Our daughter’s math has improved a lot and her teacher was impressed with her improvement and excelling in that subject. We will have her continue Mathnasium until she goes to high school. This is an investment in her future and

We love Mathnasium! My daughter has gained confidence in math and looks forward to her sessions. The tutors are great and explain concepts to my daughter in a way that makes sense to her. Also, Revati is flexible and very easy to work with. Overall we are having a great experience with Mathnasium.
Our middle school and high school kids have been learning math at the Walnut Creek Mathnasium since last October. The instructors are nice and my kids always come home with a smile. They completed their homework and became more confident on the quizzes or tests at school. We also appreciate the directors who are always open and available to discuss any issues or concerns.

We are so thankful for Mathnasium! My son started to fall behind in Accelerated Math in middle school. He would always leave his math homework last on his to do list and dreaded math class. It would often take him hours to complete his assignments which interfered with other subjects too. It also took up a lot of our time to try and help him.
After starting Mathnasium this year, our son attends three days a week, online, and completes all his assignments in advance of class. It's nice to see him working ahead instead of always trying to catch up.
He is shy but speaking with the tutors has given him the skill to ask questions. When he works on his assignments and doesn't understand a concept, he now says he will ask his tutors at Mathnasium. We like that all the tutors are patient, nice and encouraging. They will often ask if he understands a question and ask him to show them that he understands. They also frequently check in and to see how he is doing.
He has received A's each quarter so far this year which has given him confidence. His teacher would display math questions and ask that each student respond, even if if they have to reply with "I don't know." My son is answering more of those questions which shows us that he is understanding the lessons and not falling behind. He also has more time for his other subjects and we no longer have to struggle trying to help with his homework.

My daughter Julia came to Mathnasium very behind in math. She didn't know her multiplication tables in 4th grade. After several months, she is now at the top of her 5th grade class in math. Thank you to Mathnasium for their wonderful program! Her confidence is sky high and she loves math now.
